    Personnally glad to see the wee man back, hopefully he can push McGeady hard, cause he wont be a shoe in for a 1st team pick !!

    I can see Naka out Maloney in on Saturday though, think we jumped the gun with Naka last week, he didnt look fully fit just yet.

    Welcome back Shaun. rabt1888, u r totally right m8. It might give Aidena kick up the backside. We needed more attacking threats and Maloney is a welcome addition as long as he is coming back with the right attitude.

    Not too happy wi the return of Maloney,He made his bed should have left him to rot in it,hope he's on less money now than wat was offered when he decided he was too good for us,a lot of people forgive n forget too easy if you ask me,We done a lot for him over years treatment,new contract while injurerd,pay rises etc etc,for him too throw it all back in the clubs face, I for one will not be cheering his Introduction back tae the club!!

    im glad he is back we are crying out for someone to help create goals, and thats what he can do, and he isn't bad at free kicks either, so theres him naka and robson all more than able! should bring vital Speed that we need also, a great signing, the best all summer!

    delighted. He is still the same player as he was in his uber season with us and now has some EPL experience and is still only 25. That IMO could mean we have just got a 7 million pound plus player for a third of that - a total bargain. IMO (and in the opinion of many Villa fans BTW) he played very well most of the times MON bothered playing him and the mystery is why he wasnt picked - probably just doesnt fit the MON template. IMO he looked a complete player at his peak before he left us and was then a better player than Aidan is now. So we have won a watch. I would love to see Shaun and Aidan flying on either wing. With his addition, I believe we have the best squad we have had in 5 or 6 years although we still clearly have a weakness at LB. I believe the team will click over the next few weeks and will be totally unstoppable by October.

    Yep, he must change his attitude. Just because it was hard in the midland to settle, get a place in the team etc. doesnt mean he should think that he'll be on easy street now because of what he achieved over 2 1/2 years ago.

    He has to prove himself all over again imo

    i sincerely doubt thats what shauns going to be thinking mate, he knows its going to be hard to get into the team again and after a pretty bad spell at villa i'm sure he's going to be dying to prove himself to the hoops fans over again.
