Shaun Maloney rejoins Celtic

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by celtrick bhoy, Aug 6, 2008.

  1. i'd happily take him back, what a player.

Crosas, Maloney, Tamas = all i want now.

  2. sounds promising, but this ones been going since he signed for villa. I won't hold my breath.

  3. not sure how reliable this site is though ,picked it up on CQN so ahope there is some truth in it :50:

  4. ive already given up on him coming back and would love to see it as he was my fav player but i really dont think this is going to happen and that source has no reliability the story is not even in the sun or the daily mail which would put up any * rumor

A bit of wing cover won't hurt... A bit offtopic, but what's McCourt's stronger foot?

  5. With Naka probably leaving next year he could easily be starting then if he comes.

  6. I'd love to see wee shaun back and McCourt kicks with the right Leone.

  7. No Chance. Dont let him anywhere mear Celtic Park. The little Scrot decided that he was too good for Celtic and for his football to develop he had to move to the Premiership. Let him stay there and develop his football.

If he came back I would never cheer for the * again.

  8. Ah. That means he will join McGeady on the left, since our manager likes reversed wing positioning. Or, maybe not. Who knows...

  9. Id take him back if the price was right. I wouldnt pay any more than what we sold him for tho!

  10. I'd take him. McGeady will be injured, suspended or tired at some point this season.

  11. Always thought Maloney is top class. I'd be happy to have him back.
Again tho, i cant see it happening. Think GS sees McGeady and Naka starting in the wide positions with McCourt and Mizuno as back up.

  12. Two faced wee * doesn't deserve to wear the hoops again.Let him rot

  13. well nakas away after this season i think so i'd gladly have lubo mkII back, don't trust the source though lol

  14. :triplomur

    * me we never seem to move on from this pandering for the wee judas * to come back.

Leave him be at Villa and don't bring up this * :31: stop slabbering over an ex player who decided he was bigger than the club, if you all love him that much go and buy a Villa top with his name and number on the back of it.

Other than that look forward to the coming season and the new players coming in don't look back :50:

  15. This carry on makes the Tamas saga look like a routine bosman transfer.

I hope he moves to a Championship side or struggling Premiership team and that's the last we hear of it tbh.

  16. When did Maloney claim he was bigger than the club....or even suggest it. He wanted to try out another league..he has every right to do that.

  17. I'd take shaun back. but its not going to happen. celticunderground run some amount of PISH its unbelieveable. all they're * rumours start with the same * line, and i'll be amazed if this one dosn't. "we don't normally post rumours but..."
as if that gives them credibility.

I don't remember him saying that at all. that he wanted to try out a diffrent league.
I do however remember him * us about for 6months over a contract.
I do remember strachan saying that no one was bigger than the club.
I do remember him leaving for a few extra thousand a week.

  18. Liked the first line very much.

I actually hope he comes back - maybe in January when Mizubo / McCourt have been assessed a little bit more. Undoubtedly the guy has talent, and if PL was to do one of his cut-price deals which he seems to specialise in, then we it could prove to be an axcellent move for him AND us.
