Solid from Ajax yet again, we could do a lot worse than take a few pointers from them.

 

As much as the players look like they’ve seen a football for the first time, very much like the last leg. This is pure and simple a tactical mess.

That shape and high press is doing * all. Playing out from the back, although I prefer it normally, is not working either.

First leg you can maybe excuse as a bad day, but this is a carbon copy of how the game played out.

Ange plays his game and he’s said as much, he has a style and he goes with it, but it’s just not working against the Bodø setup.

Does he have an alternative playbook? I’m not sure but if not, it won’t get us far long term. I’d like to see some adaptation from Ange in terms of in game adjustments to shape and style when it doesn’t work.

 

I'd prefer we didn't have to put the players through the extra mins, so we should just score 4.

 

Don't mind Abada coming on, didn't start against Dundee so should be fresh (could have honestly started tonight tbh).

Think the only reason McGregor is coming on is because of how disjointed our midfield looks.

 

Would be a great fit there. Is a very Ajax style manager.

Is Ten Hag definitely away?

 

I think they are yes. They did it last week after we gifted them the 3rd. They are a good team but they are classless, cheating, ugly *.

The two situations are nowhere near comparable mate. Yes the lost a few key players, but we were needing almost a bar and new starting eleven when we played Midtjylland. We also had just brought a manager in the door whilst Knutsen has been there for years.
