Actually thought he was decent enough when he came on

 

He did okay I thought. He was never going to take on 2 men, he's definitely not that player now but his use of the ball was better than Abada

 

Would start him over there.

 

Aye mate he’s been poor, but he was okay when he came on, looked more dangerous in the 15 minutes he came on than jota and Abada did the whole game, if Forrest played from the start or even Mikey Johnson and put in a shift jota put in would be getting absolute pelters, just a really bad night where no one was on their game

 

I thought he was done under Delia and he turned it around but I think his best years are probably behind him.

Happens to everyone.

 

The 3rd goal was screaming at him to close the guy down at the there corner flag stood there like a * he is a man down when he plays now and Taylor is worse

 

Felt he settled us down on the right hand side when he came on actually. Can't really have a go at the guy tonight.

 

Thought he made a big difference for us when he came on, took up positions they didn’t like, moved there left back into positions he didn’t like and stopped him from coming inside to build there attacks.

He’s far from finished for me, which seems to be the popular opinion just now, he’s just taking a while to get back after taking another knock after coming back brightly from a long term injury.

If we can nurse him back into confidence, we’re * onto a winner. Abada’s got his place, get him confident again and out to prove he deserves a place back in the team.

You don’t want tidy in possesion from your winger, you want confidence and ability to take on a man. Like watching him under Ronny again.

I’d give Doak and Dembele starts ahead of him.

Well, you do want a winger to be good in possession. I'd give the young guys a go too at this stage.
