Just beat it, didnt finish the NCPD missions but completed the rest.

Excluding bugs and optmization issues, it's a fun game, the characters are fantastic and the main story is great, with a few very good non-fixer side missions inbetween. Graphics are phenomenal (except the food and drink, they look terrible for some reason)

My issues with it mostly the world itself, it has to be one of the most empty feeling worlds I've played in an rpg. None of the locations felt unique or special, closest I think was the Afterlife, which still sort of sucked.

The gangs are another issue, there are only two main missions in the game involving the gangs, I dont even think they play any major part in the non-fixer side missions, they feel like a complete waste.

The fixer side missions are terrible and repetitive, but you sort of need to do them if you want money/street cred, which is unfortunate.

It's not worth £60 even once they fix the issues, but I was able to get it for £18 so money well spent. Overall I'd still recommend it, just tone your expectations down when you play it.

Might get this, can get it for £22. Then just wait and get the free Ps5 upgrade, that I'm sure is available when released?

Just think they might hike the price when a Ps5 version comes out.

There is a free 5hr trial available on the new machines. I think I'm going to wait for more improvements, thats if anymore come. There are bits that still seem too broken for me.

Cannae believe projektred * this up so badly. After witcher 3 I as well and the lessons I thought they'd have learnt from that.

Im looking forward to trying it, from the parts Ive saw (not a lot) looks Blade Runner type.

Ive not much knowledge on makers but Witcher 3 is one of the best games Ive ever played.

For the record one of my best pals played it on PC and loved it. That was with some really bad AI and that. Plenty still say its worthwhile as is. I have enough to play just now and elden ring at end of month and feel if I try the demo/5hr trial I'll get hooked haha.

Mainly prefer playing turn-based games but I play RPG's every now and then. Last two RPG's I played were The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2. I tried playing this game recently and I have to agree, especially in comparison to my two recent experiences. The world just feels like one big façade with no real depth to it. I play on PC so there's no real glitches that are dampening my experience, either. It's just a bad game with too much money thrown at it.

Finished this yesterday, really enjoyed it and I'm super glad i waited for the ps5 update before playing it fully.
I thought the characters, main story and side stories were very good albeit the main story seemed abit short to me, its really the side missions and gigs that beef the game up but I enjoyed them alot so that's fine with me.
Gameplay was fun also but not as extensive as some of the early trailers showed.
I can see why people have complaints about the open world, it's not as deep or interactive as it couldve been and the NPC's seemed lifeless but I could live with it because the atmosphere especially at night was fantastic with the sky scrapers above and neon lights everywhere. Also enjoyed the dynamic between V and Johnny's characters.

    Now onto elden ring ...

Started playing this on PC. It's much better than was at launch and actually a really good game now. Especially the main story.

City looks amazing with ray tracing, but still feels a bit empty. I've been playing for a good 20 hours now and I don't have the same familiarity with the map as I would with other open world games. All the areas seem to blur into one.

It's actually quite good, not as good as I thought it'd be.

Had Blade Runner in my head but doesn't feel that type of game, although I actually prefer the similar game that was out for the ps4, think there was a fee of them , deux ex or something, enjoyed that more, although granted this still has a lot of play in it, I know it's from the guys that made Witcher but it's not in the same stratosphere as that.

Pretty decent enough, story is alright too.

Mind you wasn't aware Keanu Reeves was involved in this as much as I thought he would.
