Hope your right. Hope its not vital though, I'd prefer it to be the 6th goal for us in the first half :56:

Stick him on the right wing for the last 20 minutes against the scum.

I think he'll start on the right and Doak will come on later for him. I think we'll be playing Abada through the middle for his pace and movement, which Giakoumakis just doesn't offer.

The problem is that when a player so technically limited loses his legs, it becomes painfully obvious.

He is also a very poor team player. He may track back well in defensive sense, but that’s half the battle of being a good team player.

His selfishness on the ball is the stuff you see at under 12s level. Often hides when a guy on the ball is under pressure. Some of his shows for Scales yesterday were pathetic.

Been a great servant but its clear as day he's no longer the player he was and hasn't been for a few years, injuries have played its part which is a shame

Not going to lie, was taken aback when seeing that. Other than the Spurs rumours when he was just breaking into the team, I don't think there's been any rumours since, so feels weird. Always just figured he'd be one of our one-club bhoys. That being said, would knock it back. Not a first pick at the moment but we don't really have any attacking alternatives to Jota and Abada.

I didn't think Scales played well at all yesterday (after weeks of me saying he should start :fear:) but I do think Forrest did absolutely nothing to help him there. He'd have looked much better with Jota on that side.

he came on at halftime but wasn’t at his sparkling best due to him always cutting in instead of staying on the wing and launching crosses into the box.

I thought he was fine today. Definitely Abada midweek but didn't do much wrong.

Thought he was unlucky a couple times where he wasn't spotted and passes not going his way. But looked better than usual recently

Maybe he was not bad and I’m being a bit harsh. Just levels below what he used to be.

Definitely a back up now unless there's an injury crisis.

Coming back onto his game again jf will be an important player for us this season and hopefully many more , we constantly rule players out ,past it at 30 ,players like forrest have a vision to play a defense spliting pass , he could play more central if pace goes but is no where near finished , he is just getting up to speed .

Unlucky with his header, keeper was decent saving with his feet today.

Should have slipped Maeda in with a reverse pass at one point but didn’t see it in time. That will come naturally once they’ve had more time together on the pitch.

Much better showing than he put in last week for sure.

Good on the ball today (he usually is) but the acceleration he had has disappeared.

I thought he was solid if a little slow.
