Matt O'Riley

Thought he looked great today. Had low expectations him coming from League One and being so young, he's a great find and has come into the club at the perfect time.

 

Expected good things after all the talk from down south. But I'm amazed at how well he's slotted in straight off the bat. Hatate has stolen the headlines, and for good reason, but this guy looks fantastic.

 

Think he’s been great so far and I think we’ll get to see him go up a level when Kyogo is back! Some of the balls he plays are terrific

 

Reminds me of how quickly Commons settled after we signed him.

Commons is still a fud though

 

I actually think hes been better all round than Hatate. Hatate seems to drift in and out of games a wee bit cause of his lack of match fitness the now

I really hate how much Commons * his reputation. He was an excellent player for us.

 

His stats for pretty much everything were top notch, especially his passing, The only negative was his ability in the air, he appears to be crap at headers going by those stats, which is a bit of a shame considering he is 6'2" or something. I was hoping he'd give us a bit more stability at the back from set pieces. Ah well, he's only 21, plenty time to improve and I dare say our top defensive coaches will sort that out...

Like the look of this guy already; three (?) beautiful longish range passes in that first half, releasing players.

Safe bet he's only going to get better.

 

The cgi there is really good, where they managed to hide his puppet strings.

 

His gait is awkward as *

It probably help his getting out of awkward areas and dribbling but he constantly looks like he’s done his hammys

 

He was actually being fouled rotten when he played a sublime ball over the top to Abada for one of them.

Excellent yesterday

 

Tbf thommo got an England cap and didn’t get capped again due to by his own admission that he was fkin dreadful in the game

 

Thought he played well on his debut but he was even better yesterday. Superb performance from O'Riley.

 

That one against the byline where he turned the guy and chipped it onwards to release abada was absoloute filth. Most players just pass back at that point.
