    Do we go in to the market for even a loan or something?

    Bitton and Ideguchi aren't McGregor..

    Gonna have to go with

    Bitton/Ideguchi
    Hatate
    O'Riley

    Then Turnbull and Rogic back but we still lack that mobility in the deeper position which will be a problem..

    I had a pop at Ange for bringing on Kyogo against Betis, as it was just stupidity of the highest level. Playing McGregor tonight though I don’t think was. I’ve no issues with him starting him with the view of getting the game won and take him off early. Given that McGregor was injured before half time, and it was only 1-0, he was never taking him off prior to that. I would have taken him off at half time due to how poor a game he was having had he made it that long. This is a nightmare for us though if he is out for a month or more.

    In fairness pal, didn’t realise it may be as much as 6 weeks - so point taken.

    I always try and look optimistically though and can’t contemplate loosing to the zombies - so here’s hoping the other bhoys can step up in his absence!

    Aye it's pretty big..

    With player's already being out for it/away
    Our captain
    Where everything goes through
    The game's coming up

    Taking away what he brings to us on the ball, taking it off Hart/the defence and on the turn, able to play or bypass the press when he's on the ball.....he's the only deep midfielder that has the mobility to cover and get about due to how expensive we are in this system..

    It's a nightmare and could be a costly one..

    I genuinely thought we were well stocked in the middle but we may have to act now in the market. Get rid of Soro and some other's and get a like for like kinda replacement in, a youngster, loan to buy....anything..

    Doesn't matter though. Every player wants to play every game.

    Manager should be saying nope we've got a hectic and important schedule coming up. It's not hindsight again just cos he's injured as we were saying it before the game.

    We brought other midfielders in for a reason. To be able to rest him in games like that tonight...imagine Hatate and Ideguchi got called up with Japan?
