Can see him starting on Saturday, even a 2nd string team against Alloa will be a decent looking team after this window.

If we sign this lad, I would say that Shaw’s days are numbered and his loan is to get
Him game time for the shop window.

Not going to write him off yet but he wasn’t an Ange signing so you could see the point if he was shipped out after 1 season and no game time.

That's why I'm not hyping anything up until we actually announce him, the rags and all the twitter itk fannies had mcgree to us as pretty much a done deal until it wasn't.

Weve finally went for it knowing champions league money is on the line?

More likely we've hit it lucky and our usual 3-4 players at £1m happened to be good :56:

Matt O'Riley has passed a medical at Celtic ahead of a proposed move from MK Dons.

Celtic have already made four signings in January and manager Ange Postecoglou said last week he was not planning to add any more players before the transfer window closes.

But now the 21-year-old midfielder is poised to become a fifth new arrival after passing a medical.

Celtic triggered a release clause by offering £1.5m for the player and it's believed some add-ons are included in the deal.

The midfielder was also attracting interest from a number of clubs including Blackburn, Huddersfield, Anderlecht and Venezia, while Swansea boss Russell Martin was at one point keen to sign the player.

O'Riley, who was an England youth international, moved to MK Dons last January after rejecting a new three-year deal at Fulham.

He is also eligible to play for both Denmark and Norway.

As much as we have a good amount of midfielders, with the high intensity we play rotation is a must to keep us fresh on all fronts.
No idea how good this lad is but judging by most in the game saying we've got an absolute steal bodes well for us.

Just need to offload some now and we've had ourselves a great window.

Sounds like a shrewd buy. Hopefully at least another to come…. Once Ange tells the media …

    “that’s it!”

Was wondering why the fee quoted was so low if other teams were sniffing about and he's relatively well rated, him having a release clause makes sense of it, even coming from L1 english teams aren't shy about throwing away few mil nevermind extra in wages. Assuming this gets done it's a sign he has his head properly screwed on, same with rejecting Fulham and dropping down to MK Dons, he's making decisions based on actually playing football and backing his own development rather than chasing money as early as possible in his career.

Ange doesn't hang around. No getting players "up to speed" for two months
