That right there confirms my superstar one minute, Sunday league the next. He really does well when it comes to getting into position to take shots and taking chances, along with a great work ethic off the ball.

But he can look Sunday league at times with his touch and passing, seems to not be able to link up play well. It’s almost bi polar in how he can finish so well and yet not be able to link play.

 

Interestingly and not trying to compare them in anyway as totally different players but Moussa Dembele used to have a bit of this at times. Sometimes his control and touch looked great and others he looked like falling over the ball.

I do think we need to bring in another forward player as well as Maeda, if he is being brought in as a striker then another wide player is needed. If he is being brought in primarily to play off the left we need another striker/ right wing option.

At the moment Jota and Kyogo when fit would be nailed on to start but I am then struggling for the RW or swapping Jota over a left winger. Forrest looks to be struggling, Abada is inconsistent as you would expect and should be rotated and Jonhston can’t stay fit, likewise Giakoumakis so far and Ajeti doesn’t fit in with how we are trying to play.

Is there any actual solid news on this front? Don’t feel too hopeful, and hope that I’m just para, and wrong.

The window isn't open as of yet, but it would be nice to see some of these guys arrive in Scotland, undertake the relevant quarantine and be ready to go straight away..

Probably easier said than done tbf.

 

I see that Berg has already joined Lens. This is what we need to be doing so they're already over here before Covid * them getting over.

Wee nichola will be busting to thumb her nose at the scottish game, and especially at us, being the wee mutant vote chaser that she is.

 

Hoping for an earlier, extended winter break so that we can buy some of these guys early and bed them in. 3 week circuit breaker from after christmas, postpone the hibs and huns game and get some guys back from injury and some new boys in.

 

I agree postpone that huns game be unfair if we are made to play behind closed doors seeing as we played them at full house I’d rather they postponed it rather than that

I doubt they would want to be sat in a hotel over xmas or new year waiting clearance for the 3rd jan to sign so i don't think we will see them training before middle jan. It will be interesting to see how it works out as Ange did say in the past they were moving things early in regards to signings this window. Guess it also depends of where the shut down is moved to or if its moved as to when their first games might be.

 

Even though nicola has locked football down the we poor soul thought its ok to remove all countries from the red list. So as long as they don't test positive no qaurantine needed.
