I think this is a good point and corresponds with the Desmond signing issue.

Desmond doesn’t take much interest in Celtic other than it paying the dividends and our operations when including player sales don’t require any extra investment basically it doesn’t cost him anything. He has his dated board look after his interest with his son being pitched in on occasion.

It actually makes it all the more baffling that he gives a 30 year old with a history of injuries from the EPL a four year deal, as although he didn’t cost him a fee he takes up probably a decent wage (unless that deal is a basic topped up with pay as you play). If he is totally useless to Ange’s system you are just wasting money and making it harder to achieve his primary aim above of Celtic being self sufficient without his investment, it really is madness.

 

So slow in every aspect of the game.. No zip to his game at all..

Has physicality but that's about it.

He was out on his feet. His fitness is a big concern.

 

Really wanted more from him as the senior player on the pitch. Such a huge downgrade from McGregor and even Bitton in that position.

 

His fitness is probably the least concerning thing about his performances for me in all honesty…

 

I wanted him a few years back, how we sign him now on a 4 year deal is nuts! He's slow lacks skill and can't stay fit so why would you give a guy with the injury record he has a 4 year deal, I'd rather an academy player got the chance

 

I hope the 4 year deal was in place for a quick flip for some coin, as he's not even SPFL standard never mind Celtic standard. Rank * rotten.

 

He’s not even recuperated from his broken leg properly could see one leg was a lot skinnier than the other has he just been * about since he was injured for palace looks so weak and unfit

I thought he done well, still a bit to go fitness wise but I think a few harsh comments in here

 

Thought he played well and got stuck in, had a good balance to the midfield and he has a real calmness on the ball. It’s going to take time for him to get fully fit and only game time will help with that.

 

Its criminal the amount of time he needs on the balll-he gets the ball, and then its like "lets have a look around and see who I can lay it off to".
Just an unAnge like player.
