How far will celtic go in CL?

we NEED better signings! Paddy McCourt is all well and good but we need bigger and better f we are to have any expectations for a decent CL run! Im really getting impatient bout lack of signings

 

I reckon if we're lucky we'll make the last 16 3 years on the trot. We need to strengthen at the back!

 

I hope we don't bump into Barca again, really getting sick of them now - used to be a bit of a fan of theirs, now I can't be bothered with them.

 

It's the passing teams like Barca and Arsenal that i really wanna avoid. I reckon if we drew Schalke last year we would have went through to the last 8.

 

Same as every competition, in it to win it. Probs not happen but hey, who would have banked in the huns getting to a final in Europe. It can happen so until were out its possible. We can beat anyone, its been proved.

 

If we can get through the groups again, then how knows what can happen.

I especially think we will at least get to the last 8 if we can win our group. Then the 2nd leg will be at Paradise, big advantage, knowing what we have to do to go through.

 

we can beat anyone at home in europe on our day as we have shown over the years.now its just a matter of piicking up some away form and avoiding the likes of barca and milan which we have been unlucky to do in the last few years.if we get a nice draw and play well away from home thers no reason we cant make a decent push at the last 8 or beyond.

 

If it wasnt for Caldwell's cool placed shot in the dying minutes against AC Milan at home to set up skippy's winner then we wouldnt have been in the last 16. I do know where youre coming from but I think Caldwell deserves the chance to prove himself this season, after seeing him in the run in for the title he completly changed my opinion of him.

As for the CL i dont want to be negative but we wouldnt stand a chance against the passing teams Barca an Arsenal as someone previosly said. Would like to have a pop at Liverpool again though! haha

We just have to really try and win the group then we stand a chance of gettin to the last 8. As some of the big european players say, no team want Celtic in th knockouts!

 

As long as we have European football in january ill be happy!

 

hard to say ,no draw made as yet ,we need a bit of luck in the draw as allways ,but celtic need to start taking points of teams away from home

 

no limit to what we can do, but also no gurantee to get out of the group, hard to say at this stage though

 

We need to get through our group first, i think its going to be harder, we need to pick up points away, hopefully well get a slightly easier team in the last 16, We can beat anyone at home.

 

I expect us to win each game we play so I cant say anything else but I think we will go all the way.

 

Without signings or groups determined it's hard to say. But I think this group, as is right now, can get through the group stage.

 

tbh i dont think we will get to last 8 unless we have alot of luck. Last 16 is a big acheivment and obviously id like to see us go further but we need qualitity sigings to do so.

 

it depends on how the team is playing. celtic are very inconstant last season i saw them play beautiful and could have beat anyone but then their was games when i couldnt even watch we were so awful we need to hit form in the right time and then we could be as good as anyone especially when you have a keeper like boruc who can keep you in games you shouldn't be

 

I've looked hard into my crystal ball and it tells me Celtic will reach the Semi-Final against Manchester United and hold a 1-0 away lead going into the second leg at Celtic Park. It's all a bit cloudy after that. :icon_mrgreen:

Good chance again of getting past the group stage, If we could only improve our away perforances you would never know....

 

we have to shot away goals, than i think the last 8 are possible.
