Just out of curiosity as I missed the start of the game. How was the minutes silence observed? as according to Mcgreror in the Scottish hun:
*Sadly, and predictably, a minute’s silence for Rangers legend Walter Smith was disrespected by a number of ignorant idiots in the Celtic end. Shame on them."

Sounded like 1 singular guy whistling and it may have even not been in the stadium.

Still a long way to go under Ange too. It should have been at least 0-4 at half time rather than 1-3.. have never been as anxious 2 goals up but we got there. Alluded by Callum yesterday the Ange philosophy has become more pragmatic since th last international break and it's showing with the results

Haha had a lovely time with the wife but then we've been up every hour, on the hour as one of our children isn't feeling great.

I can deal with it knowing that we're now only two points behind. Everything just feels more positive, you know?

Looking back on the game I must admit I was stunned that we were up by 2-0 so early in the game. It brought back similar feelings I had when we played Betis in Spain and we also were 2 nil up in the first half.

I feel we still are not clinical enough in such situations and do not put the game to bed when we should. We get compcvaroslacent when we are ahead and lose focus and let teams score against us or we do not take our other chances and waste them. We must not get cocky.

It infuriates me when chances go begging to score goals because of a lack of focus and hastiness.

Jota blasted the ball over the bar in the second half with the goal at his mercy when a low, controlled shot would have made the score 4-1. Keep the ball on the turf and you are more likely to score. Also missed a sitter against Ferencvaros in the second half on a through ball pass.

Mikey had a chance to score in the first half and would have, but chose to make a difficult pass instead. Bad % decision.

Giakoumakis needs to stay calm and be aware of himself in relation to where the ball is. He seems to be rushing. Example - choosing glancing headers in front of goal instead of getting a solid nod on the ball into the net. Did this last two games he played, and at Easter road. Has a huge potential to be a star at Celtic, just get the simple things done right George.

Things are looking better each week we play.

We don't need Poirot for this one buddy, Beaton is an out and out Hun, always has been always will be. I haven't seen the whole game from last night but I can guarantee there were occasions where Sevco players were holding/dragging Aberdeen players in the sevco box far worse than what the Pen was given for.

Boyle is a very lively player, a real handful to deal with. Have not seen an opposing player to match him . Plays like a Celtic player.

I do not see players challenging a decision like they do in the EPL.

Rangers are a one goal, two goal team that seem to score in the second half. The way they are structured they are not capable of more goals in a match.

We need to take advantage of this.

Rangers have had very reasonable away games as well so far.

So far this season we have played all the places we have found traditionally difficult.

    Hibs- 3-1 win
    Motherwell 2-0 win
    Aberdeen 2-1 win
    Livingston 0-1 defeat
    Rangers 0-1 defeat
    Hearts 1-2 defeat.

The only away game right now I think we will have trouble with is Tannadice. They've been playing well.

Rangers have played one away game less and have played 2 or 3 of the lesser teams away so far.

    Dundee United 0-1 defeat
    St Johnstone -2-1 win
    Ross County 4-2 win
    Dundee 1-0 win
    St Mirren 2-1 win

They still have to go away to Easter Road, Tynecastle, Pittotdrie and of course, Celtic Park. We have a run of decent games coming up as well in the league. Home to livingston, Aberdeen and Hearts and away to Dundee is our next 4 league games.

They are away to Motherwell, Livingston and Hibs and at home to Dundee. Big few weeks coming up. If we can take maximum points from the next 4 games, we are doing tremendously well. Last night's results have blown this title race back open. January could be a huge month for us in terms of recruitment as well.

The biggest thing about this result is that it means on Saturday we have the chance to go top of the league for the 1st time in a year and a half, and to have them not be.

I said all last year that everything was aligned perfectly for them, after the Bolingoli fiasco, in a way that'd never happen again. Prior to that they'd NEVER shown any bottle at all. Even last year when they should have won a treble - the rest of the SPFL were collectively shocking - they choked in both cups under pressure. They won a Derby match where we didn't have a single shot and bizarrely one where they didn't either which together could have been a 12 point swing - against the worst Celtic team in years.

I honestly think if we get in front there's a good chance that we'll be there for the rest of the season. If we double down with a strong transfer window, it could be a sizable amount we win by too. It would be "all on green zero" for them to spend in the transfer window to play catch up. The win last night was huge, but Saturday is * MASSIVE!
