If I were Ange, I would not rebuke Tony for entering a conflict in defense of a teammate- might even be worthy of a praise, given the context. In Scotland, we get the * kicked out of us. Public complaints aren't helping, referees will at most, give the offender a yellow. Only the threat of getting rattled by a mad avenger might make them think twice.

That being said, Kyogo might want to brush up his martial arts skills (pretty sure Japanese schools have mandatory martial arts classes).

I think Rodgers traumatised him at young age putting him up against Neymar. Set his career back!

Last season as well, we had the average, Everton loan Jonjo Kenny being given a chance to play .

Before it was Frimpongs role, and El Hamed when fit.

Prior it was Moritz Braeur, or Jeremy Toljan to replace Lustig.

He's never been given a chance until now. His career begins this season and he has all the potential with his attitude. Doesn't hide from anything. Tough as nails. I want to see him keep the Jersey. Juranovic will need to fight for this position when fit.

Ralstons saving tackle tonight wasn't the first time this season he's made superb match winning tackles in the big games. He had them in the Alkmar games. His performance tonight was superb one moment of poor control in general his crossing is good. Better than the * we last season with laxalt and Taylor on the left at putting a ball in.

He's got the fight that Kieran Tierney has. The guy's career is just starting. Unfortunately there's been a series of below average diddies being given an unfair opportunity over him. The jersey is his. He deserves to keep it.

The board have a lot to answer for for their signings. Ralston has never given up. A success story. One of our own.

Superb tonight big man. Hail hail.

    Absolutely.

Thought Ralston done the right thing. He was very unlucky to get booked. It’s not like he went over the top either. He was measured and let the guy know he was there.

9/10 I don’t think he gets anything for that, I think the referee just shat it because there was a kick out so booked them both as if it was a handbag scuffle.

We can’t be wee shitebags because the occasional * referee will give us bookings.

Exactly, the only person who likes a shitebag, are other shitebags.

Hopefully, Ralston showing up for his team mate means a few more of his team mates follow his example.

Part of Ralstons problem in having reacted to what was done was he was the only one to react. Need that edge in the team not just to work with each other but to care too.

Absolutely, I loved it. However, if you are going to do that, you have to be in total control when you do it, no red mist, keep the hands away from the face and don’t go leaning your head in. Last thing you want is a red card.

I mind when he was flung in at the deep against Barca at Celtic Park and Neymar was kicking him, winding him up, just singling him out and giving him a hard time and Broony went straight through Neymar twice and I think he got sent off. You've got to take care of your team mates and now Tony is a good bit older, wiser and more experienced. He's going to end up one of the more experienced players in the team that we'll rely on like Forrest and McGregor are the now

Some of his defensive interceptions that have prevented sure fire goals have been excellent this season. He did it again against Motherwell when Tony Watt was waiting for a tap in at the back post. People may bang on about his weaknesses but how about highlighting his qualities, reading the game in a defensive sense is definitely one of them.

Reminds me of Peter Grant in a way. Huge Tim huge heart, run through a brick wall, fairly limited in ability but leaves it all out there every week. He is an able squad player.

Different Barca game Broony got sent off for tangling with Neymar, stupid wee kick, less than the other night, I'm pretty certain. Still agree 100% with the sentiment though :50:. Bang on.

Peter Grant had more ability than given credit @Sean Daleer .

He sacrificed a big part of his game to allow a (much) better player, McStay to have space and freedom. The year Grant played on after McStay retired showed Grant had a lot more capability and even creativity than had been obvious before. He sacrificed a large part of his career and skillset for the benefit of the team (and in particular McStay).

Loved McStay but players like Aitken, Grant and now Ralston typify what I love to see in a Celtic player too.

Good, he deserves it on form, he's been a different player to the one we all expected and dreaded when he was extended at the start if the season, but he's been brilliant, aye he's had some moments but he's scored one crackers and make some crucial saves too.
