Yeah it * me off too. There needs to be a concentrated effort from the support but I don't see it happening. We're a poor support these days that thinks turning up to matches is only thing that matters.

What's most troubling is the number of happy clappers with a following on twitter that immediately kick out any sort of criticism of what's going on, no doubt because someone in the boardroom knows their name so they feel super special.

    *.

Rather than a mass walk out (really don’t want to walk out during a game or walk out on ange and his/our team) perhaps no one goes in till 15 minutes after kickoff and then constant sack the board chants and banners

As some of you may know Frank Mcgarvey is now a joiner in Glasgow (usually hired by Allan's Furniture if anyone wants a former Celtic player to make their new cupboards!) he also said the exact same thing, that the club treats explayers like *, unless you are someone they can monetise (like a larsson) you are treated with contempt. The whole thing about being a family seems a myth at least when you leave the club. The bitterness in his voice was telling.

Has there been anything substantial or credible, regarding why McKay left?

thats actually not true, if the fans did make public walkouts or stands against the board it would be publicized and people would be asking the board of celtic and dd questions, it would look bad and celtics reputation would be getting harmed, the stockmarket would be telling the board to sort it out as it could harm the share price

i know what you mean though, but although they think they are CELTIC they arent the stockmarket shares and investors are celtic and if we get reputationally damaged by the board of directors, heads will role

we do have power but it only if the mass of celtic fans use it to publically shame the board

it wouldnt work if it was just a one of it would need to be every game for some weeks to make people sit up and take notice

maybe celtic fan graphics advertising the clubs vacancies with a countdown attached in the stadium ???

like no sports science team for 120 days e.t.c it would be funny as * and that would hurt their egos

I wonder of there was a clash between Dom and the board about Christie leaving?

    Why would there be?

Postecoglou came in knowing Christie wanted a move and said he wouldn’t try to force him to stay.

On this, what do former employees of a business really expect? It’s not as if former employers are supposed to look after you.

That is true. Without naming names one of the Lions who I've known for many years gets one free home ticket and that's it. He has often got extra tickets from our bus for his own family rather than go begging Celtic to allow him to buy an extra one or two.

I mean technically you're correct in that there's no legal obligation but it seems a bit of a cold take when you consider that the club still looks to bring up past achievements or speakers nights if there's a coin to be made.

If we're truly 'A Club like no other' and 'Once a Celt, always a Celt' then I'd like to think we did look after good servants for the club; running all the way back in our history we don't though.

Our greatest ever manager was given the disservice of being offered to be the head of the pools. Our greatest ever player was down on his luck and Willie Haughey had to step in and give him a decorating job and buy his medals to look after him. This all the while the club still makes bank from the Lions achievements. Same to be said for the Love Street gang or those that stopped the 10 etc.

I'm not saying we should become a charity for ex-players or managers but I would like to see it opened to more than just those that brown nose the PLC.

The club should treat them like royalty, gutting knowing this, sums up modern society not just celtic as a whole sadly.
