Downed tools and was still comfortably our top goalscorer with 23 in 38. In one of the worst Celtic teams any of us have ever seen, what else do you expect from him playing in a gutless, tactically non-existent Celtic team surrounded by players that hd no interest in build up play just getting close enough to goal for a shot? I don’t think many strikers we’ve had would have done better than him last season.

That’s before you factor in the effects of getting Covid etc.

    He done awrite.

It is obviously but there is a load of space down there that you don’t generally get up here and he’s good enough to exploit it, he’ll enjoy down there.

Do you think he was giving his all this season and most of last season? That's the only question here.

I think he gave us all he had in the tank, I don’t think he accidently ended up top scorer, I think he set out to do that.

I think he also played in a very downheartened, bad team, that struggled for form and any decent sort of form. I don’t think last season was a season that we would ever be able to say we had a team that would individual players with their form.

Head down, * team, toxic atmosphere, lack of coaching, catching Covid, being denied a move that we had promised (people tend to forget this part btw, we went back on our word) and the full * circumstances of last season effected him. Obviously it did.

Still gave us a lot of end product. See if Ajeti or the new big Greek guy gives us a return of 23 goals in 38 this season, would you be happy with that?

Gave us many really fond memories, and nearly single-handedly won us 8iar and the Treble Treble.

For me he was a big game player. And I think he'll do very well in the EPL.

However some of his behaviour last season was reprehensible. Particularly at the beginning of the season where he probably thought he'd get his move to the EPL. Being "unavailable" for important qualifiers but then suddenly fit to play for France U-21s was a noteworthy disgrace. There's no other way to spin it.

He checked out of Celtic mentally a long time ago.

I still have an interest in him now, but only because it may affect our negotiating position in future. By which I mean, if he's successful we can likely demand higher fees for our players as we can point to the players' subsequent success in the EPL as evidence of their quality.

You can't be a fan and not care about the beans.

Can't buy anything if we don't have beans.

It's not for me to worry about bud.

Too many fans, and I'm not saying you are one celebrate financial reports and how much we get for a player.....I only worry about winning, winning leagues, cups and hunskelping.

The board will manage us regardless based on dividends and commercial opportunities which is their want and what they are employed to do.

"Can't be a fan and not care about the beans" that's total balderdash......in business there's a saying that cash is king, is it * .......everyone knows its Henrik.

As long as we win everything. Its not my job to worry about the sell on value of a lazy * of a player. * that.

When I'm on my death bed it will be the amazing party's after winning things and all the wow things I done that will bring a smile, not the 7% more sell on value we got for some French *.

Watching the Liverpool v Palace game just now and he could easily have scored twice if he didn’t take so much time on the ball.

The kind of decision making he had for us all last season. He's got to hit the cross on the volley but he tries to take it down.

Exactly mate, or go for it with a diving header. Although we know he is useless in the air.

Just watched the highlights of the Pool Palace game.

That was the Eddie we used to know and love - * 2 glorious chances and making a half arsed ‘defensive clearance’ that led to a corner… and a goal.

Get used to it Palace - you’ll see a lot of this!

Hope he does well enough that we max out the add ons that were part of his sale beyond that could care less.

Couldn’t really give a *... always backed him as a top player but quite obviously stopped playing for us to force a move away... almost feel he was influenced by the dembele situation. He’s no longer a Celtic player so could no longer give a * about the boy.
