No sure if this has been posted already but he's so strong receiving the ball, turns well and will win us so many freekicks in dangerous position's..

Very clever at drawing in challenges..

Excellent in the air and can score which we already know..

He looks a bit clumsy to me

 

In one or two clips but most of what I've seen from him has been positive..

 

Genuinely thought he was just going to be a guy who was strong header of the ball. Pleasantly surprised that he can pick a pass too. Seems good at linking up the play and drawing fouls.

We've missed players doing that. You can see how effective Morelos is for the huns at doing it.

 

Good point the last bit..

It's a big advantage getting us up the pitch, which we lack..

Last week they 'won' so many fouls in our third. I'm struggling to remember 1 for us?

His touch looks * poor at times to be honest. Edouard seems like the superior footballer by far, but he does look strong and lord knows we've needed a big physical * since Dembele.

It will be interesting to see how he goes. For such a cheap punt I'm not too bothered as a replacement for Griffiths/Ajeti.

Obviously he's no as talented as Edouard and his touch isn't the same standard but I think he looks good enough..

We've seen enough in him to bring him in. He is cheap as well so no real harm done but I think he's that kinda different option which we've needed for a while..

The AZ poster who'd seen a lot more of him than most us us, would've rather they signed him than the other Greek..

Can see him getting on the end of plenty Turnbull set pieces and Abada whipped crosses..

Was training at Lennoxtown yesterday..

 

Most I've seen of him so far. Looks very decent. He is going down too theatrically in a lot of those fouls.

I'd say he is fouled, but hate that over dramatic action as he falls. Scottish refs will love to book him for simulation.

 

He showed more aggression and desire in that 4min video than I've seen from Édouard in the last 12months. Something we've been crying out for. Also, should never underestimate buying an in form striker with sky high confidence.

 

Ah good. I was thinking that if he wasn't away with Greece, the break would be a good time to let him settle a bit before he plays a match, that's all.

 

My recollection is the Van Hoidonk was * poor in the air too, until we went to work on him. Think the Dutch league allows players history to flatter on that count, but his willingness to try it means we should improve him quite quickly. Like I said before, there's risk in this guy's capacity to take getting ragdolled by big hammer throwers, but we'll need to see. I certainly don't expect him to hit the ground banging away every cross that comes in

 

Looks like he still needs to be worked on, decent range of pens tho which again is pointless as we never get any haha. Decent in the air which we are poor at in the box so hopefully this is where he does most of the damage. Think he'll be a slow starter but with better coaching and players around him i think he'll do ok.

 

Think the problem when we played the Huns was Eddie coming short for the ball which crowded out Turnbull and Rogic. It compressed the play. Kyogo offers a long ball behind the CB’s, which would open the pitch up because the Hun CB’s are too slow to match Kyogo so won’t offer the space.

If the Greek plays up top v the Huns, we would be repeating the mistakes of our last game. Europe is a different story, but Kyogo should start every league game as the striker.

 

Exactly what happened. 10 minutes of him at the top and we could've bagged 3.
