    The sly thing the board have done here is drag out the Giakoumakis and Jota deals to make them look like Edouard and Christie replacements.

    They were meant to be coming in before there was concrete talk of bids and medicals for them leaving.

    Unless there’s more to come, they’ve * us and Ange over big time.

    If they announce Lovric tonight I’ll kiss Desmonds feet though I don’t even care.

    I am not as optimistic as you Bud, I don’t see us brining anyone else, maybe another right back in on loan if you believe the reports on the transfer thread …..

    it’s going to be a massive disappointment.

    We can't do that. Griffith's is gone and Edouard prob is as well. With the Greek coming in that still leaves us short. Ajeti needs to stay and maybe we can actually give him some game time before we completely write him off.

    They say you should be coming out of a transfer window stronger not weaker…..

    I would love to be wrong and we bring in 6 but I can’t see us doing anymore business than the Greek forward who they have completely dragged the * out of and now the on loan Benfica lad.

    If that’s the case its a disaster of a window over all, because we will run out of steam due to the squad lacking quality and depth and the powers at be are handing them another title and champions league money.

    It’s like I’m living through the couple of seasons after WGS again when the board * it then…….

    Our captain of 10 years that we apparently couldn’t live without left this summer and we haven’t spent any money signing a replacement. We didn’t even have a sniff at an experience, first team centre midfielder.

    No one even talks about it. It’s a * joke.

    A freebie with injury problems.

    No worries. Should’ve just kept Brown.

    Why not go out and spend money on a midfielder entering his prime like when we signed Brown?

    Someone that a team would be gutted is leaving them.
