Not sure about this guy.

Wouldn't be devastated if it didn't go through, but then, what are the alternatives? We need a striker, probably two.

 

In regards to this fella or Henry being Eddy's replacement.. I'd pretty much say we have Eddy's replacement, he's Japanese and scoring for fun...

Anyone we bring in as a striker will be playing the role(not replacing) Eddy did when we were two up the other night.. Someone to come on to slow it down and hold the ball up top...

So in saying that I can't see us spending big on another striker.. whomever we bring in will be used mostly as a sub or back up...

I think if we get big money for Eddy it will be spent to bolster the squad and not just getting another striker.. just my thoughts

 

I really like the look of him after watching some of his highlights. Clearly very physical, you can tell by the way he strikes his penalties that he knows what he’s doing, his chips look class and he even had a couple of bikeys. I want us to sign him.

 

He's Greek, so that helps, but not getting the vibe here, would rather Henry.

 

It’s probably because we don’t actually know how to say his name and just go Goaoaoahdhhdd in our heads when we see his name.

Top scorer in Holland always goes one of two ways, absolute failure or absolutely world class. I can’t remember any inbetween.

I'm not convinced by this guy, but he looks like a target man. Decent in the air, decent finisher. Not sure how good his technique is though.

 

One of his first goals was an overhead kick he took out the air. His technique looks solid for his type.

 

I think we should pass on this the guy has had one good season and it was during covid with no fans, might be better suited to that lot than us

 

You have to remember that Kyogo has already played over 20 games this sesaon before he came here. He will need rested at times and we'll need someone that can cover there for him sooner than later.

Now whether it is this guy I'm not sure. Maybe Ange would want to keep Eddy until January so he can raid the Japanese market for some bargains. If Eddy gets sold now though we'll need someone else in as Ajeti and Griff don't appear to be getting a look in under Ange, which I can understand.

 

Fair play to him but opportunities for an overhead kick are rare. We'll mostly be playing with the ball on the ground. I'm open minded and if we sign him I'll be right behind him, but I prefer the look of Thomas Henry.

 

I've never understood a sell on clause.....

Are they looking 15% of the eventual price when we sell him on

Are they looking 15% of any profit made?

Sell on clause for a 26 year old is a bit desperate. He might come here and sign a 4 year deal.

Profit. Imagine you bought someone for say £5M, sold them 2 seasons later for a loss, at only £3M. On top of the £5M paid you'd owe another £450k to the team who sold you a dud... Only an idiot would sign that

 

Makes sense when broke down like that
