I think if Mccarthy is fit he comes in immediately.

Didn't do anything majorly wrong tonight though. He shows it in flashes, maybe consistency will come with experience.

I like the idea of him being the right CM in a 4-3-3, McCarthy holding, Callum left. A special "Hunsmasher" midfield edition?

I like him. I think he breaks up the play well. I think he has had a few harsh calls against him as well. Sometimes he is too keen to try and win the ball back and I feel and can give away silly fouls, but I would hope that would be something he can improve on. Just not sure if he will see much game time once McCarthy is ready to go.

Theres a thing he does and I hate this in players and a lot do it but he does it a lot in that he drops into space for the cb and rather than turn and look forward he passes straight back to the cb when he has plenty of space! Infuriating

Needs consistent game time. Ye McCarthy can be first choice but soro needs to feature in most games and he will continue to improve

Does the simple thing well, just needs a run of games to gain confidence. Gives the team energy. There is a player there. Again, like Abada, wont see his full potential until we upgrade full backs.

If there were ever an award for the worst start to a post on here, this would win it.

Not a bad player but whether he's good enough to take us to the level that Ange wants to take us to is doubtful.

Will probably fall behind McCarthy in the pecking order but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. He needs to learn from someone with more experience. He is definitely a player but needs to tighten up his game in areas.

Even with McCarthy coming in, I still feel like we need a solid box to box midfield capable of sitting in when required. Turnbull and McGregor don’t do the dirty side of the game well enough for me.

Soro has the engine to become box-to-box. And is defensively better than McGregor. People are suggesting McCann from StJ. Is he a player who could be classified as box-to-box? I do not follow any other Scottish clubs, thus my question.

Can't not like him and he is just getting used to having so much game time..

Having depth is important and he's definitely going to play his part this season.

With the amount of games we play over a season there will be games for him to play even if McCarthy is the main man at 6. I think he is a decent player now and has potential but he is not ready IMHO to be our everyday 6. He is only 23 so hopefully he can learn from McCarthy and be gradually brought into the role over the next couple of seasons.

McCann would be a good addition to the squad IMO. Definitely fits the box to box mould and it would be relatively low fee with potential for a high return.

In terms of what we’ve got at the moment I’d probably go with a midfield 3 of McCarthy, Soro and McGregor for tough domestic and European fixtures to try win the midfield battle and provide extra protection for the defence.

UEFA better not be shitebags and hammer these racist *. That's 3 times Czech clubs have been guilty of racist incidents in the past year and something needs to be done

If you can't hear it around 14 seconds they start making monkey noises at Soro when he's celebrating with Forrest

Was there not trouble at the Euros in their game with England too? Their whole FA needs clobbered. Happening too often for them to possibly say they’re doing enough to stamp it out.

He’ll learn a lot from McCarthy coming in as well which is great, especially after Broony leaving there is a void of having that experienced player there to help the younger players along.

Still believe Soro will turn out class, will just take time.
