    Also.......the state of that pitch!!!

Abada was lucky not to really injure himself when his studs got stuck

Hes also been the difference last few years of Celtic playing in Europe or not

Aye he can be * at times. But last few years hes matured and came on as a player and a real game changer.
Last season showed how much we missed him

Yes he did I’m not denying that he didn’t, but in a game where they were the only two positive things he done all game (yes I’m aware that’s all you need to win games) but for the rest of the match he was a wasted jersey. Abada contributed much more in terms of passing, movement, tracking back and creating chances. If your not going to perform for 90 minutes you leave the door open to criticism.

The state of the pitch had no bearing on him standing looking in defenders eyes playing peekaboo trying to get past them though.

But yes the pitch was heavy and looked atrocious.

This is what I mean by massive player. The amount of important goals and assists he's made for us is extraordinary for a winger who has struggled with fitness and form.

Some * are just negative, greeting faced wanks who would moan if they pulled a 10 lapdancer but their knickers were on inside out.

A goal and assist for him, think it was the right decision. Abada was fading and Jamesy’s experience won over in the end.

Aye, 94 goals and 94 assists. Will join Jinky and Larsson in the club of centurions that’s done 100 in both of I remember right, and I suspect it will be done shortly.

I think Abada would be even more wasted on the left though, as him cutting in from the right looks like our most likely route to a goal at the moment.

He’s never a left winger but showed again tonight his value to this club. I * love the guy. McGregor and Forrest are the heartbeat of this club right now.

Was decent last night, great cross for Christie, suspect we have little option but to play him on left side the now.

Wasted on the left. Still contributed hugely.

    A nice headache for Ange.

Big contribution to 3 of 4 goals scored. Can't ask much more of any winger. Job done.

There will always be a debate concerning James Forrest.
The reason being his inconsistencies. Some of which has seen his form suffer for full seasons. These will always be countered by those who believe in his merits by pointing out big or important contributions he's made during low spells, like big goals in Europe etc.

Quite simply, his critics, And I certainly have been one if them over the years, argue that he's been indulged for far too long. I certainly can't remember any real or serious offers for his services, which perhaps says alot or a little depending on your opinion of him.

The bottom line is, his stats speak for themselves. He's a very valuable player who makes big contributions when he's on his game, and can still do it even when he isn't.

If Ange can get the best out of him, the way BR did in his first season (I wanted him punted but was glad he wasn't), then he'll be a key player for us next season.

But it wouldn't be unhealthy or irresponsible to bring someone in to try to keep him out of the side. It's just good policy.
