How do you work that out? Taking any club from the 3rd tier to the premier competition is not a joke by anyone standards. All that has been achieved in a less than ,15 year coaching career. I actually don't see any other situation where Howe could have done better with Bournemouth. This was a struggling league 2 team he turned into a premier League regular

The board should be slated for their conduct regardless .they put all their eggs in the Howe basket they could have got rid of Lennon in November approached howe who told them come back to me in summer so they chose to still stick with Lennon rather than move on to another target they then where strung along by Howe and wasted 3 months anyone else would have went * that on to someone else but personally it suited them because the glorified accountant didn’t want to pay another manager until end of may it’s a * disgrace and short sighted as * holding on to the pennies because they don’t see the potential to bring in more

We actually can though, it's not something that actually stops a club appointing a manager. He may not be the designated 'manager' but he can till call the shots

 

If failure is winning the league twice thank * you're not anyones boss

 

3 months was taking the biscuit any fan if told by the board would understand that problem is they refuse to communicate about anything totally back wards how they deal with fan groups

It isn't as straight forward as that though, a PLC company can't constantly communicate its projected actions. I'm not sticking up for the board but there are limits as to what they can say publicly before a deal is done
