  1. Brilliant news, he has been a breath of fresh air since he took his chance.

  2. Delighted for him and us! Think this means he’ll be here next season, not going out on loan

  3. Score a header on Sunday Welsh goal, over 2.5 celtic win and Goldson booked

  4. Dare I say a future captain in the making?

just hope he continues his run of form and gets better each game. * love his attitude and reading of the game.

We haven’t produced a half decent centre half in a while (from the academy).

  5. Ye defo think he has it to be captain down the line. His interview I thought he spoke well, confident, yet not cocky, get him to 50 competitive starts and he could be some player for us

: "He’s the type of guy everyday who pushes himself. He always wants more information and works very hard on the training pitch to improve. I’m delighted he’s committed his future to the club. It was a very simple deal to do."

  7. SW: I’m delighted to get the deal signed and now my focus is on the pitch.

SW: It’s always a big game going into these ones, especially going to Ibrox. It’s the last cup to win this season and hopefully we go there, put in a good performance and get into the next round."

SW: We know what it means to the club, I know what it means as a fan. We are 100% going into everything and we are fully focused on Sunday."

SW: on Kristoffer Ajer partnership: "He’s still young and being that experienced helps a lot. He's very comfortable to play with - his pace, ability on the ball and communication as well. He's a great player."

  9. I really like this lad! Barely put a foot wrong in a period where everyone else has....

  10. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. He handled those questions well.

  11. Talks well and seems to have a sensible head on him.

Don't think we can really lay any fault at him, nothing that you don't expect from his relatively young career.

Think with one or two more in with him, big characters with big experience and he will learn a lot and grow in confidence, which will be key.

Talking about ajers communication and leadership will hopefully be something Welsh looks to copy.

  12. I know he missed a sitter but he was solid again today.

  13. He should be one of 3 or 4 that can actually show their face in public after this season.

He has shown more talent and desire than players on 4 or 5 times his wage.

  14. Admittedly haven't seen much of him since he's come into the team (I haven't been watching), but he seems pretty solid. How good is he?

Sure loves a clearance in the opposition's penalty box though :giggle1:

The sitter he missed today was unacceptable but has looked solid so far. One of the few that should not be shown the door, hopefully he will justify being given the new contract he got recently.

  15. Him, Bain and Ajer only 3 for me.

  16. Really looks a good player. Can guarantee you he would have closed the space if it was him instead of ajer for second goal. Bad miss but these things happen. One of very few to keep around
