Leaving the house in an hour with Ruby Roo for a lovely long early Spring walk on my local patch. Surely I will get my first Wheatear of the year this morning.
Howe I have not seen one yet this spring is beyond me:84:

I was really busy yesterday, so late afternoon I went out to the front garden for a breather. My son and daughter, Caroline, came with me, as they were in need of a breather too. Suddenly Caroline shouted, "Look, Look". We looked up to see two stunning Buzzards circling about 50 ft above us. What a sight. Even my son was impressed. The beautiful light markings on the underside were so visible' It was a great spectacle.

The Clydebank canal going towards Dalmuir and they're also in the canal going towards old kilpatrick they've been here for years but
The Clydebank canal at Dalmuir but also you've got to know where to look as they're well disguised in the background they love basking in the sun on either a log or anything they can bask on I've seen them in the same place for year's and it's always thrilling :)

It's amazing how they've adapted cas I have been seeing these three terrapins for years I'm talking over twenty years that's how well they've adapted, they only come out to bask when it's sunny which explains a lot about the species, I can show you the exact spot on a sunny day if you're local cause I can guarantee one of them if not the three of them Will be there have posted a lot of pictures of them, hope you get the same excited thrill that I get when you spot them :)
