I wouldn't want it, I think it sounds a bit * having a sponsor of a ground to be honest but it wouldn't upset me if they did it. It's just a name at the end of the day and none of us would call it by the sponsor name

 

Like the majority of supporters.... we only care about the team on the pitch & how we improve it. Only the “want to be offended by everything” would find something wrong with it. However, I do appreciate your moral compass, just not on a footy forum.

 

Completely disagree. I thought Celtic were supposed to be a club with a moral compass and a support with a moral compass. We were set up to support the poor and have always had a support favouring left wing politics. I think that still means something to a lot of the supporters and they wouldn't want to see us sell out to global capitalism - personally I'd rather see us relegated first.

 

You can buy Celtic branded chocolate bars on the club shop site, I think it's a bit late for that.

 

There's degrees of selling out. We've all sold out to some extent. It's impossible to live a normal life if you don't. Maybe that line was a bit over the top but you'll get my point - Celtic is more than just a football club to a lot of people and are judged by certain standards - or maybe I'm just an out of touch old romantic

 

Not against the concept of a corporate sponsor, but I would rather we stayed away from partnering with various Emirati states.
