In the bigger picture, for me he is adequate backup - if we had a LB of the calibre of Tierney, Izzy (first stint) or a Lustig (rb, sure but of that standard) before his final couple seasons.

He shouldn't be seen as a starter.

He's just too slow and slight for the way we play..

He'd be ok for a defensive outfit but we're attacking 9 time's out of 10..

Team's look at him as an obvious target because of his size, lack of pace and physicality. Thing's that he can't really improve much on. It's always gonna hamper him..

If you have no pace. Can't beat a man. Can't recover. Can't win headers. Can't outmuscle anyone....you're really on to a loser for a side like us..

He's been good the last few games. Lacks pace, but comfortable in possession.

Did well to win pen but so many opportunities to go on the outside and he continually cuts back inside and passes back. Just think he offers so little attacking wise for what is required of a Celtic full back.

It’s no surprise that when he’s been played as an actual LB people are happier with him.

    Another good game today.

He always looks as though he's just did a flitting.

I actually thought he was really poor..

Terrible for their goal and caught under the ball again. St Mirren should've scored from that exact ball at Celtic Park the other week..

Passing was atrocious first half. Felt like he gave it away almost constantly and would love to see the stats..

Gets bullied a lot in the challenge and is definitely targeted as our obvious weak link..

Decent enough pass in to Edouard for the second..

Thought he was * too, only the CBs were good out the 4.

Poor for goal and his overall play was farcical at times running out of play constantly. His * up header under no pressure led to the goal too and played his part in weak play, which is always guilty of.

Full back position very important position for a team like Celtic when domestically teams are always sitting deep so they’ll see a lot of the ball. Don’t mind his as a back up but not first choice like the majority of people.

He's ok but has massive limitations and we don't appear to have a plan to make use of the strengths he has.

I can live with his lack of height, but he doesn't show any kind of aggression of physicality. He looks a bit soft and lightweight to me. Not wanting him to go around halving people, but he gets shrugged off the ball too easily for my liking.

I think he is rough and wasteful in possession and goes backwards quite a lot. He is absolutely useful in attacking one vs ones, he offers no threat when he has the chance to dribble. He does have great stamina and can look a threat when he runs off the shoulder off the full-back, but we don't see enough of that.

He was rotten. Passing was poor and both he and McGregor didn't even challenge Rooney for the goal. He isn't good enough, simple.

We have been used to the likes of KT and Danny McGrain and other good Celtic LB's who could take their man and put in a good cross now and again however, Taylor isn't a good LB. He has too many faults in his game i.e. inability to take on his man, poor crosser of a ball, too small/lightweight and not aggressive enough. I do admire the fact that he always gives his all but, unfortunately, that's not enough
