As well known as Rafa is, I dont really know how strengths as a manager. I've heard he's not the type to be friends with his players. But I cant for the life of me remember how his teams play, transfer policy etc.

Any half decent manager would need their head checked if they were thinking of coming anywhere near this shambles.

He won a champions league with a team that had Djimi Traore in it, that’s good enough for me.

His brand of football has never really been the most exciting to watch. His Liverpool team were built on being solid defensively first and foremost.

But he’s always been on the ball tactically, obviously, given the level he’s managed at.

He’s one of them where, although I would love a younger, progressive coach with a high tempo approach...it’s Rafa Benitez. The guy is a top level manager.

Aye, I know. Won La Liga's in a league with the Galacticos of Madrid. Amazing achievements but I just wonder how his football and his managerial style translates to the here and now.

Aye, he is top level. Idk why im not as excited at the prospect as I should be (although part of that is not fully believing the story)

I'm a betting man, and would happily take any bet that he wont be the manager of us at any time in 2021.

If I'm wrong I'll happily pay out as it would be a sensational appointment.

Apparently that's the chief editor that done that article, so even if they've jumped the gun on us appointing Benitez it tells me Lennon is most likely gone which is still good

Mate, I've been hurt in the past but if Lennon goes and Rafa comes in I'm going to need to pay a few quid out on lube.
