Last nights events didn't chance the boards intentions. If there would not have been protest they've thought that they can get away with it anyway. Maybe the protests added to their arguments not to act but it didn't chance their decision. They're a pathetic group of morons with absolutely know knowledge about the football business. Normal football club boards have oftem former players or other knowledgable people in it. Ours is a tory boys club. Disgusting!

The media were complicit in attempting to drive Neil Lennon out of Scotland during his first stint in charge. Now they appear to want him to stay.

Can't think why that would be.....

Well I'll be down tonight joining in with the protests. Enough is enough. We need to get more, it's the only way to keep pressure up. They cant ignore it forever.

All the fans saying we should thank him for stepping in when Rodgers left C'mon, they could have as well just installed Kennedy and we wouldn't be any worse off. We might be even better trained and Rodgers modern methods would still be used by his studend. Lenny can thank us that he's actually got a chance to save some money for later.

The board would do well to remember why they are in a position of power. It was fan demonstrations and money from their own pockets to organise against the White/Kelly dynasty. The fans put the rebels of McCann & Dempsey in place. Easy to forget that. We would possibly have no club but for the fans.

If the board think they're going to dig their heels in then they'll lose this one.

Precisely I said this before, I wish our fans could come together like Celts for change and make a difference in the way we are being run. The fact Lawwell has been there for over 16 years is a disgrace imo.

Where did he get his status as an oracle anyway? Was it not for predicting the Barkas transfer a minute after his unveiling video was uploaded on YouTube. Fs.

If he is in charge against Milan, he will be in charge against St. Johnstone. We all expect to be humiliated on Thursday. Evidently, the board thinks that another humiliation is acceptable.

This is board, shareholders (and their interests) V supporters

ie - the PLC v FC

or - the ones who make money from the club V the ones who provide it.

Pl and DD will look at ST wait lists and recent history and think ...

“those mugs will just renew anyway for fear of losing their seat and first refusal on European tickets etc .... they’ve not been to a live game since last March so will lap up the chance to see Celtic next season whatever state we are in and whoever the manager is!”

sadly ... there will be a lot of supporters who will see it that way too and put principles second to a long needed football fix.

I do think they are underestimating the scale and depth of backlash that they are risking though in this if all seasons.
