With no fans inside the ground, voices must be heard. PL can ignore social media but not what's on his doorstep. This is not going away.

I assume you've not read the statement. Might struggle to get all that on a banner.

If fans were at the stadium the raw emotion from fans would be much worse.

But like everything in football nowadays, fans opinion means * all, its only their cash that matters, the statement will do * all, Lennon will be given the chance to save the season right up to the point that we are still 11 points behind with only 4 games left of the season.

It is utterly unforgivable that this club is behind sevco, its football, so fine once in a while we might lose a match against them, but over the course of a season, there is absolutely no excuse domestically that we should be challenged for trophies, we should be battering teams regularly and winning trebles as a norm given the level we now operate at compared to rest of Scotland.

Call it misplaced arrogance or whatever, but we should not have any competition at all domestically it is joke that our squad, manager and board are making it so.

Its not misplaced arrogance mate.. or this * narrative thats being rammed down our throat by Lennons pals in the media that we are spoilt...insulting from O'Neil and Co.

We are the biggest club in Scotland
    We have the best players
    We have the biggest budget
    Highest wage bill
    Biggest stadium
    Most supporters

    The list goes on....

The team is not performing for Lennon for one reason or another and hasn't all season.. and to be this far behind the huns and so far off it in Europe is disgraceful..

They could agree a settlement for him as the pressure is already clearly visible and is about to get worse for him.

I agree 100% he should be long gone already. I just think at this stage it's apparent he wont walk the decision has to be taken out of his hands

I am Lennon's biggest critic and thought he shouldn't have got the job again. hOWEVER....
On hindsight, I would want to give him until the next old firm game before a change. No logical sense to drop him here. As much as it pains me to say it.

Will the message actually get through to anyone that matters ?

Anyone of importance will be out in Prague so even Lennoxtown will be just those left behind and with no influence.

They need to turn up with it once the squad is back and training prior to RossCo game (asssuming there will be a training session).

Fkk it! What golf course is DD on this week?

And it also seems the Scottish players are on his side

The foreign players not so much, perhaps due to his British style of training, motivation and nutrition methods

Will be interesting to see the boards next move. The fans have spoken and made it clear what the overwhelming majority want.

One of two things will happen now.

1). The board will act and remove Lennon from his job.

2). The board will ignore the fans and let this shitshow continue.

My money is on option 2.

Also don't they usually train at Celtic Park the morning before they fly out for a European away game?

Lennon has stated in the past that if the fans were not happy with him and wanted him gone he would do the honourable thing and walk...

No doubt his contract should be paid out but Lennon is refusing to acknowledge the reality of the situation.

If he is refusing to leave because of money and this could be his last gig on management thats disgraceful.. I.dont believe that for what its worth.. I just think he's deluded and arrogant and thinks its everyone else's fault..

You remove all the arguments being put forward by the ones still fighting his corner by elaborating in the statement like he did.

    1. It's not personal
    2. We're not saying it's solely your fault
    3. Past success doesn't bear as much relevance as current results/form

He's no going anywhere any time soon. If they insist on keeping him, I don't see why they can't bring in a genuinely class coach, someone to actually analyse games, work on tactics and gameplan.
Get that Strachan, his laptop and that earpiece to *, he brings nothing.

The timing of the banner is definitely strange, if dropping points at Hibs was the final straw then why not put it up on the Sunday or Monday when it was clear Lennon was still in a job?

Lenny was done after Prague for me, you don't get humiliated in Europe by a team of fringe players who haven't trained in a month. That result and performance epitomises what we've watched all season, with a few scrappy wins against far weaker SPFL sides the warning call leading up to it.

Seems like he'll be here until the next Huns game, barring any more calamitous results before then. At least it's clear now (if it wasn't before) that the fans demand far better.

I really hope he does do the honourable thing but at the same I really don't think he will you just need to listen to his interviews he thinks he is doing a good job
