We will * about as per usual and be given the usual excuses that they tried but failed. We will then look at a 2nd rate type manager or stick will what we have. I fear a no win situation

Benetiz is on £12 million a year in China. We can't afford him

Ideally, a Rangnick character would be best but they would have to give the entire infrastructure an overhaul. Sporting director, head coach, recruitment, data analysis, fitness, and set-piece coaching, the lot. Rangnick would be within our budget but I don't see our board spending the money o all the other aspects.

Rangnick doesn't stay in the same job for long but getting him in as manager/head coach right now the promote him to sporting director would be a great bit of business. I believed he was the man to take over from Rodgers after his Salzburg team gave us a doing but I also know that his methods would not bring instant success.

But I genuinely think it's the way forward. No top team has a setup like ours and that's for good reason. We get these things in place and it makes everything easier. We'd no longer have to shell out for entire coaching staff every time a manager leaves, we would have a vision and philosophy and more importantly in my opinion a footballing identity again

EDIT: Just saw this and it just shows why a data analysis team and proper tactical knowledge is essential to modern football

£12m? Fine. Sell eddy, that's 3 years wages covered. Sell "wants a challenge" Christie for some player funding. Get it done.

Strachan could come in until the end of the season and steady the ship. He knows scottish football, hes been doing all our home games on Celtic tv, so he already has seen our players live plenty of times this season. He will know where our problems are and is a good enough manager to sort us out for 6 months. Gives the board rest of the season to scout a manager for next season maybe an up and coming forward thinking guy from abroad. And we all know a lot of players will be gone at the end of the season, so new manager in for next year with a chance to recruit players to suit his style of play, basically a complete reset of our team and club. (Hopefully after we've won the 10)
