Coming away with that when we've just had 3 * poor results in a week is pathetic though..

He is experienced enough to know when to brush certain thing's off..

He's given away too much in that interview and made an * of his self as he's taking everyone for mugs in my opinion..

He mentioned no fan's being a hindrance to us. If we had fan's in the ground for the last 3 game's he'd have known full time at Pittodrie how it was only a 'minority'. Aye right..

Dalglish turning up in the media to defend him is a fkkn Joke as well....

Lennys agent must have given a call.

The guy has never got much to say about the club in a positive wAy as we know where his football heart really lives... but in this he should be keeping his mouth shut......

The man who gave us ‘John Barnes - Football Manager’. :55:

U would think half of yous on here are Sevco fans. I've criticised our managers in the past but for now I will support our current manager. Enough is enough. Get behind the man and the team. Too make matters worse we have people on here and on the radio stating due to Lennon not jumping mad in the touchline they want rid of him. That is astonishing. All the managers I played under from UK, USA & Ireland I never remember saying to myself while on the pitch playing why is he not running up and down the line or jumping up and down. That makes NO difference to players. All managers have different ways of operating. If we are winning matches there wouldn't be a chirp how the manager performed on the touchline.

He is a club legend & gave us a lot of loyalty as a player. He deserves his say before many others, whether you agree with him or not.

Feeling like Mother Teresa defending him just now, but for balance, if he had a passive interview then folk would be saying he’s lost interest/passion etc etc. He can’t win either way. He’s also not going to do a Slippy and throw his players under the bus - he’s trying to take the Rodgers approach which obviously worked.

He showed a bit of fight there that we might have been missing so hopefully it ignites something. Also, I get the impression that the players are still playing for him contrary to what some folk are thinking.

Just for a bit of balance in the time being.

He threw the player's under the bus after Ferencvaros..

We haven't really improved performance wise since..

I expect a Celtic manager to blank off anything that gets said by Huns in the media, no tell us all that he's read 2 polls about him in different rags and start waffling on like a desperate man..

    It's tin pot..

Those things are not self excludent. You can make passionate, aggressive declarations without being full of * as he is at the moment

the football on offer was equally as * last season as it is this, rode the wave of Rodgers last season until Lennons tactics/training/regime kicked in, you see the regression.

Also the huns threw it away last season, never the less we done well to pick up results, but needless to say it wasn’t pretty attacking football.

    Nah. That's pure lies..

We changed formation after new year and strolled it with some of our football being up there with anything under the rat..

Let's no talk * just because he's failing currently..

Nah I never, just sat with my back to the game.

And no that’s not “pure lies”, get your head out your * and accept we’ve been * for well over this season alone. Guessing Cluj is wiped from your apparent selective memory.

    Yep..

There's stuff to grumble about but that is nonsense..

We were unbelievable January onwards and it was a tactical switch that the rat almost never deployed..

Well you must have done if you think the football on offer was as * as this season so far.

    Something off about you though.

Yeah well the throwing players under bus just doesn’t work for me. That Ferencvaros game seems out of character based on how he has been since he’s been back here.

I thought that it might be an interview to get some sort of response from the players. It lets them know he is under pressure so he’s putting down the marker for them, perhaps?

Folk talk about his body language on the pitch being subdued and feeding passive rhetoric in interviews - this seemed a bit more fighting talk and possible trying to cement a more siege mentality?

I dunno, I’m just looking for positives...I suspect we’re in it for the long haul.

Love the snappy Lennon being back. A clear swipe at the absolute * that is Commons into the bargain.

Time for him and the squad to galvanise around one another, maybe the siege mentality is exactly what we need - same as January onwards in the league.
