I dont understand how this guy decides at 33 when we are going for 10IAR this guy now decides he fancies it and wants to move to us and then we go trying to make the move.

I dont like how Tam Mcmanus has basically acted as his spokesman in the media either. And then he tries to hold us to ransom for a two year deal. Ffs man his neck wouldnt burn.

Not for me. Get Toney or Ajeti and rotate Eddy, Griff, and Paddy. Fletcher can fight relegation with Wednesday cause nobody else will take him.

 

French Eddy needs a shocker of a first half on Sunday, maybe knock the ref out and then when all the clubs have lost interest score 4 in the second half. That way we won't need to buy Geriatric Fletcher.

 

Swapping Bayo for Fletcher for this season might be a good move, as long as Eddy stays. He’s a different style option to Griff and Klimala.

 

Fletcher is technically talented and would be good back-up. 33 though......

If he was not wanted a Sheffield, would he be an useful asset to our team ?

He reminds me of big Chris Sutton in build - he is strong, he knows where the net is, he can hold up the ball, he can assist and he is not afraid to throw his weight about. He also has years of EPL and SPL experience - and tried and tested is what we need. In my opinion it is a no brainer at a time where we need players who know what our club is all about and being a massive Celtic man he will give his all going for the 10.
I say bring him home...

 

No No No No.........Wasting money on someone who only wants a piece of the pie., only wants his name written into the "10 iar team". At 33 does not fit into our signing policy, wasting money as back up on the bench. He is slow and doesnt score a lot for a striker, I dont get this he will score for fun in Spfl.

 

He was offered a new contract by Wednesday, he was their top scorer, he refused it.

 

Didn't want him the 1st time round and certainly not enthused about it now. We've bid for Toney, agreed a deal for Ajeti, close to a Man city youth forward too apparently. We have Klimala an Griff to backup Eddy and now Fletcher. That's a lot of strikers, hope it doesn't mean what I'm starting to think it might....
