  1. Aye id be happy with Findlay coming in as Jozos replacement.
For me he's the best CB in the league outwith us and the huns. Far better player than McKenna plus fact he's left footed would give much better balance if we go with a 3

  2. Being linked with Mark Mckenzie, center half that plays for Philadelphia Union, 21 years old, had a breakout season for them this year.

  3. Will we sign him and loan him back to America for 4 years?

  4. Only once his work permit is refused...

  5. Maybe we’re trying to start our own US team

  6. He actually plays in MLS unlike Gutman who was a college player

  7. A player suggestion do you think the CB Bastos from Lazio would be out of our price/wage range? With clubs trying to trim squads he doesn't seem to be a regular in their team but I was very impressed with how he defended in both games against us. He seemed quick over the ground and an excellent reader of the game, always getting important blocks in. They played a back three so used to that type of formation. He is 29 so there would not be any likely resale value but could be another experienced option to add to Julien in defence particularly when we are being linked with the young CBs as well and even if Ajer stays he is still learning the role.

  8. If Villa go down I wonder if they'd sell Mbwane Samatta.

His record hasnt been great with them but he was prolific with Genk. They only paid £8.5m.

Kyle Joseph. 18 year old Scottish striker at Wigan..

Linked tonight but wanted by a few club's..

  9. I think he’s looked good whenever I’ve seen him play for Villa. Really hard working too in a tough role for them

  12. To be fair while that is true we have been loaning Gutman to FC Cincinnati who play in the very same MLS league that the Philadelphia Union do. If this kid wants to be able to play for us he will need to be able to get a work permit. The fact he is already playing in MLS means nothing. It is his international status that counts.

  13. That settles it then, we’ll sign him and just hope for the best again

  14. He has a senior international cap for the states so if being a senior international rubber stamps your permit he's golden

  15. I believe that a player has to play 75% of his nation's senior international games over the previous two years to qualify automatically for a work permit. Otherwise, the club needs to go through an appeal process, and demonstrate that he would be a positive addition to the Scottish game (McKenzie would almost certainly qualify on that basis).

  16. Rag saying we’ve had talks with Lyle Taylor, aswell as huns- usual lazy journalism *

  17. Be better aff wae Greg...

    Oh wait.

  18. Really? Have not been impressed with him at all tbh, granted he’s playing in a * team though

  19. The work he does off the ball is relentless. Think he’s been asked to play totally different to how he did at genk. His quality is definitely there, just a shame villa have been *. Which is weird cos across that squad they actually have some individually good players. Just doesn’t seem to of worked. If/when they go down Samatta will * the championship if he stays.
