    Hart would be worse than Gordon. Guy is a total bomb scare and has been for a few years now.

    Those two need loan spells to teams in our league. Never been really convinced by either of them in the academy games I've seen. Albeit both appear to have done well out on loan.

    I’d like Marshall, but that would mean we have a lesser keeper than rangers have and that shouldn’t be the case. Mcgregor always kept Marshall out the Scotland squads and still does

    I don't believe Wigan would let their 1st choice keeper go, selling him a year before his contract ends would probably mean pennies for him too.

    What I meant by it is we should be trying to get someone better in general, FF to Marshall is a big drop

    Totally agree.

    I wouldn't be against Marshall, if it was almost a last option, Forster has to be the first choice option, followed then by our scouting team actually doing some work for once and finding a decent player.
    Then Marshall for a year or two while we make the youth coaching team do their job for a change and bring a decent keeper though - think last time we had any sniff of a decent keeper from the "academy" was before the academy was a thing and Marshall came through.

    Yeah I believe the same. I’d be really disappointed if Marshall is the last option and we’ve already decided FF isn’t coming and we’re not looking elsewhere before the windows even opened! Haha Marshall of a few years ago would of been a good signing, now I’d say him and Bain are about level on quality.

    My hope with the keeper thing with rumours is to let Southampton know Fraser isn't the only keeper out there.
