saw a tweet saying he now has 100 assists for us, he currently has 88 goals, if he can get another 12 goals he will join prestigious company as only the 3rd player to have triple digits in goals and assists for Celtic after Jimmy Johnstone and Henrik Larsson.

 

He was good today, can flit in and out of games but always amongst the goals and assists.

 

He just sticks at it, can look like he is having a stinker, but always seems to come up with a goal or assist near the end of games.
Would like to see Christie giving him a wee rest now and again but always have him on the bench.

 

He shows up on the big stage time and time again which is what makes players like Forrest so special they show up when it matters most and he did so yet again today with that pass to set up Ajer for the winner.

 

And involved in first goal also, just want to see more from him against Huns

 

Same goes for the rest of the players of course.

Real key player tonight , if we get anything am sure it will be through him .

I don’t tend to have ‘favourites’ but if pushed it would always be JF....

First time I saw him play (as in me at CP) was the home leg final CL qualifier v Shakter Hairy Scary...

Looked like extra time coming and he pops up with the winner ! Been to a good number of european games since then and none have had quite the same buzz in the crowd.

He frustrates the life out me. Is brilliant then looks like a shitebag not willing to track or work hard then 30 seconds later does what I've criticised him for.

Aye very greedy, he did some mad * outside the box, instead of looking for a pass, didn't want to and ended up falling on his * and setting off an attack for them.

 

Once he gets into the box and he gets his head down, he only has one thing in mind when sometimes laying in a team mate is the better option

 

Where all you haters been for weeks when this 'greedy' player has been creating chance after chance?

Forrest had a great game 1st half , 2and half not many played well , but he was asked to track back and also get us up the pitch , it's a hard shift but when u throw a few players into that side who are not match fit then players are having to work even harder and that's kinda were it fell down , mo was a man down , brown going off hurt us and christie and wee cal had average games , but I think we tried to invite them on and sit a little deeper to give us more space to counter them , I almost worked but the players tired really quickly and picked the wrong options .
