Liam Donnelly..

Not having a dig at you, just feel stats only tell a small portion of the full picture. Brown has proved himself over many, many years. A good half season for Donnelly for instance doesn't make him a better option than Brown. In fact it's far, far from it. I'm sure Steve Robinson would happily give us Donnelly in exchange for Brown in a beat of his heart.

 

Anyone got his goal?

 

Definitely and I wouldn't swap either..

Does back up that he's a pretty decent player who's versatile though and wouldn't be the worst option as a squad player..

 

Brown is going to have to be replaced over the next couple of years and I would rather we tried to replace him with someone who knows the boots they have to fill rather than buying a replacement from the continent. I'd hope when we do get a replacement he is here for the long haul 7 to 10 years and armband material. He would have to have a certain temperament and tenacity.

I don't know this boy well enough to know if he has this in him. So whats the opinion? For anyone who knows him well, is he up to the task?

 

As a cheap squad player, why not. He's scored a few too. We've all felt players like McGregor and Broony need more rest time. This guy could give it.

 

Heard this has a good chance of happening.

 

I'd take him at this point..

Is he a Tim?

Gets about well. Can mix it. Scores goals and takes set pieces and is also versatile..

 

Defo a Tim mate and Motherwell fan in my work says he’s been their best player since moving into midfield.

Deffo got some good stats from this season..

Started off at Fulham but got a bad injury and has then had to work his way back up the ladder..

Has 50 or so international caps through all the ages I'm sure I read..

He'd be cheap and domestically has stood out amongst the rest..

Centre mid. Right back. Centre half and even in a 3..

All those positions we could do with someone coming in now and again..

Was meaning more United or Liverpool or is he a proper Tim..
