Why like a post that's saying you're basically finished here as a new striker is in..

 

If he’s not happy... it would (me anyway) indicate that HE feels he is fit/ in form enough to be playing regularly...

Clearly the management have been and are thinking otherwise.

Even With Sinclair and Morgan gone ... and a new striker in.... its maybe just sunk in how far down the pecking order he now is.

 

Aye, now is the time for unity in the club. Social media dramas, even if there's nothing to them, are an unwelcome distraction.

If Leigh is unhappy at the club looking at other strikers then it's upto him to prove to Lennon that he's made the wrong decision. For a start he needs to lose a bit of the beef, knuckle down in training and bounce games and get back to the level he was at.

The club have been very good to Griffiths. Very few would not only protect a player as much as we have but renew their contract during that period.

We all love the wee man and he's been a cracking player for us over the years but sentimentality won't keep your place in the squad, you need to show you're worth it. The gauntlet has been laid down to him and his future at the club is still in his hands to grasp. Lennon isn't a guy to bear grudges, if he was looking sharp and banging them in, in training then he would've been in ahead of Morgan.

 

The snake used to call him out. Lenny is one of the few who has always supported him from the get go..

Came back and was as understanding...due to his own mindset with what he's had to deal with and yet he's still slapping him in the face..

In my opinion, if he wasn't already done here...he is now..

Bit of a rollercoaster few years for him here but more ups than downs.

 

I love Leigh but it's nearly half a decade since he had that 40 goal season. His style doesn't really suit our style of play and he has had next to no game time in two years. Probably best for everyone if he goes on loan. I'm not writing him off and still think he could score goals for us but I don't see him getting the game time.

 

Twitter is * * bullshit.

Lennon should ban the players from discussing club affairs on it as it never helps matters.

I'd be happy for Griff to stay if he's contributing but if he's unable to play half the time then what's the point? In fairness I think he deserves a bit more than getting flung on with 10mins to go and expected to change the game but that's up to management.

Love the guy myself but he's being very childish. At such times when another striker is signed you've two options

1. Step up to the plate and show you're number one

Or

2. Play the victim and act a complete walloper.

He's chosen 2 seemingly.

 

That last bit is spot on..

It's disrespectful as * to the new boy coming in for starters alone..
