    I think I might have a new friend, BFL. Out today planting new hedging (eco vandal next door) and noticed blackbird hopping about. I had brought some sultanas out with me. He was definitely interested in coming closer, hopped closer and closer but just too wary of making final few hops. I am hopeful though over the next few weeks that we'll become buddies.

    Heavy snow first morning up here in Highlands. And a biting wind. So no hills and mountains.
    But so far Redwing,Fieldfare,Stonechat,Reed Bunting,Kestrel,Great Spotted Woodpecker and Whooper Swans the highlights so far.
    Wind dropping as week goes on so much more exciting sightings should be on the numerous cards.

If my new camera doesn't come soon I swear I'll have a meltdown been dying to kick * out of the santa stop here and colourful windmills on the community planter that belongs to all the close, tacky as * I'm taking deep breaths :drag: and some Chardonnay, plus artificial grass :47:, Mon the new camera, apologies for my wee rant johniebhoy:54:
