HIIT yesterday. 7.2km on the rower today. Running tomorrow. Weights on Wednesday. Just need to cut out the caramel chocolate digestives with my tea. :84:

I've added a Goal Tracker to my apps, it certainly has made a difference in the last 2 weeks. Makes me accountable to myself. Cold showers, Cardio (which I'm failing at), workouts, stretching, weekly weigh in and measure, MyFitnesspal. Great visual to see if I'm sticking to my goals.

Cold showers? Similar benefits to an ice bath?

Wim Hof, look the guy up, I have his app. Think it was @leeso-ardoyne that mentioned him and I took a look.

Same benefits yeah, I do it at the end of every shower. Been doing it for 2 weeks every day now, great feeling afterwards.

I started off getting a minute and a half easy, turning the dial right round to cold... That was cheating. Finally had the balls to flick the power button to cold, now THAT was cold water, lasted about 5 seconds!!! Up to around 20 now :56:

    My week so far...

Fitbit can be a wee bit unreliable when it comes to distance, but is more reliable when using GPS.

But, have also been using the Strava app which I find more reliable and there is only slight variations from my Fitbit data this week so quite happy with it.

I vary it. The post you quoted I was doing it on the treadmill. 10kph the resting speed, 14,15 & 16kph the sprint speeds. The rower is class too, but I prefer to do longer sessions on that.

It was. I was doing them again for awhile, great they are. Infact * amazing especially after doing his breathing exercises but it's something you need to be consistent at. Once you miss it a few days, that's it you won't go back to them for ages. You need good discipline to keep up with them. I also bought a small swimming pool I was to put outside, fill with water and let it ice over and do them. Still haven't blown it up haha.

Did try the very cold baths with small.amount of ice in it. Again, you definitely need good discipline to do them. I jumped in, 10secs later I was like * am I at and jumped out. The shock to the system is crazy. I did get in again and eventually did 1 min the second time the next night. Had my son doing them, he lasted over 2 mins and was very surprised. My other son who's 5, he lasted 10 secs and was out of it like a salmon with live on them haha. The wee * refused to go anywhere near it again lol

How do they taste in comparison to CarbKilla bars?

Not a whole lot of difference tbh. I only every have the choc brownie one and its one of the best tasting bars I've had. Not as "proteiny" as some.

CarbKilla caramel chaos takes some beating though. But this one is up there.

Did 20 mins of interval training on the treadmill last night. 9kph resting speed, 13.5kph sprint speed. A minute at each speed. Then a 2.4km run. Finished it off with half an hour on the cross trainer, then three sets of shoulder presses. Going to do a kettlebell circuit today.

Could do with him shouting at me, it was a struggle. Had so much sweat in my eyes for the cross trainer I ended up closing them for a lot of it. :56:

3km run tonight. Then on the way back I walked for two lampposts, then sprinted two lampposts, repeat until I got home.

Half of that will be water and be gone in a week. The other half you'll need to work on :56:
