Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo

It's not as if he had a poor game against huns, he's been poor since returning from injury.

  1. I have seen nothing in him since he arrived to tell me he is going to be a decent consistent reliable player for us,we need week in week out performers who can at least do the job their position requires ,he can't.

  2. I don’t think he should be written off, even though I’d agree Taylor should get more of a chance.

  3. The big worry for me is that someone actually looked at this guy and thought he could do a job for us, unless he was a different player for his previous club ? :43:

  4. He definitely doesn't look comfortable in a back four, he might be better as a wingback. Hopefully we'll bring someone better in and he'll be the backup.

  5. did we sign him cause he skuded Morelos when he was at rapid Vienna

  6. We have, Taylor

  7. Needs to work on trying to go by a man....one on one..

He's terrible at it. For a quick player who bombs on all day, he literally can't face up a full back and skin him..

  8. He's no defender that's for sure.

    Wingback perhaps.
He has pace and a good cross on him, but I think most of our first impressions is correct. He got a little better/less worried about him as the weeks went by, but then he got injured (as all our new signings do) and I've yet to see him get back on that trend of improving.

I'd be looking to move him on to be honest and stick with Taylor as a long term squad player (perhaps able to be the key man) and look for a more finished article and ready made left back ASAP.

  9. Could play as left winger, perhaps.

  10. I’ve seen absolutely nothing that suggests he is more suited to the wing-back position. As I said before, I’d be happy should he never play for us again. He’s absolutely * and whoever scouted him should be sacked.

  11. Can't play as a left winger when you can't beat a man..

I've stuck up for him and quite like him but the other day he was a shambles..

He's very quick and athletic and can be a really good outlet by breaking beyond the full back and being played in to space..

Deffo has to work on being on the ball. The little kick and trying to run round a defender who's read you like a book.....is 5 year old *..

Defensively and beating a man are the 2 thing's I'd be drilling him on for the next few week's..

  13. You wonder how * Taylor is if he can't get a game over this mug. He's hoaching.

    3 million each.. Fs

  14. If you watched our games then you wouldn’t need to wonder. Taylor has been good when he’s played.

Bolingoli is Lennon’s first choice due to how well he was playing before his injury. Some Celtic fans just have the memory of a goldfish.

  15. I can only actively remember watching Taylor playing twice and in one he gave possession away so much we stopped giving him the ball..

I've never personally been a fan of Boli, he offers not too much going forward, his crosses are terrible and often makes the wrong choice anyway. Never looks comfortable on the ball and even seen him not wanting the ball when in space at the back.

  16. That's the thing though, this "playing well" is largely hyperbole, he just didn't have any major * ups.

  17. How many major * ups has he had in his time here?

  18. Some of the footage of lee O’Connor as left back is really good why is this lad not getting a chance

  19. Because he is naturally a right back and we have spent £5m + on two left backs in the summer
