Every one of them played well tonight. Solid in defence, loads of industry and creativity in midfield and front players involved in all the goals. Elyounoussi brilliant for second goal from winning the ball to scoring. Could have had a couple more - Jullien in first half especially. Augurs well cos I think we'll get better.

its a quite a new team they still have a bit to go before they know each others game really well, so a lot of improving still to do, i also think they can all improve individually and as a team more

i'd like us to learn to do what cluj do pretty well, pressing as a team and closing the space to force the opposition into errors, i think theres a lot we can do to improve in that regard, you'll see it when we play expensive sides from the big leagues, they push right onto you and theres nowhere to pass

 

I'll take that as revival fuel every week please.

Christie and Broony, where superb tonight but for me Calmac was MOTM. I don't think the guy lost a tackle and the way he chased and picked up every second / loose ball was outstanding. His pass to Boli for the first goal ..........

He never stopped all night and I reckon he covered more ground than Christie. Which is something.....

 

I heard cluj want Christie drug tested....

 

You missed out his distribution. I don't think he gave the ball away once. Not just side to side passing, either. Really positive possession.

His best game so far this season by a distance.

Some of the close quarter passing under pressure was breathtaking Like very player was at it, seen a lot of situations where I expected Cluj to gain possession with 3 men around our player with the ball, then BOOM , 2/3 quick passes into space.
