Great performance and result. It was a good game to watch, other than Ajers stupid lunge for the penalty it was a pretty mature and confident performance. Bayou never touched their keeper, unfortunately I don't think we can appeal as it's a second yellow.

 

Solid defending. Impressed by Hayes in particular. Bayo was unlucky that the first challenge resulted in an injury to the Rennes player.

Yes and Lennon being tactically better than Rodgers in a defensive sense, he understands we cant play in the same style against good European teams as we do against the likes of St Johnstone, Killie, Motherwell etc. We looked solid throughout the team.

 

Don't usually put it so simple but * they are genuinely gash, should hammer them at home, though they did manage to nullify edouard but that's the only compliment I can give.

 

Good result, on hols and didn’t see it but anything away from home is good , look forward to highlights notorious !

Keep replaying Bayo on the goalkeeper he is nowhere near his head and the minute hes sent off the keeper is up grabbing the ball cheating *

Great result considering quality of the opponent but I felt we could have stole 3 points at the end if we tried more with set pieces of ajer was back post instead of brown.
