Great pic that. Still absolutely on cloud 9 over what an incredible victory that was to clinch a first ever 5 in a row. The fact that we did it against Kerry was just perfection. For so many years growing up we always had to play second fiddle to Kerry but now the past decade or so the boot has firmly been on the other foot and this win I think ends any arguments about who the greatest team ever is.

Unreal how good it has been and enjoying every minute of it for sure. That is 7 All Irelands in the last 9 years 5 national leagues and a clean sweep in Leinster. Greatest GAA football team of all time:62:

Think 40/1 was mentioned,i think the guy put it on after two in a row so if thats the case 40/1 doesnt seem to be bad odds.

Theres an article in the star tomorrow about him collecting it should have all the details there.

Yeah if he put it on after 2 it's very good considering Dublin were probably 11/8 or 13/8 to win it at the start of each campaign.. dont think you were getting any bigger than that.. I'll have a gander at it tomorrow in the shop..

    No they won't.
You see they are genuinely happy Dublin won and they are not in here running their mouths off looking a reaction.
They seem like genuine GAA fans - unlike yourself....back to your armchair.

Well Done and congrats to all the genuine Dublin GAA fans.

The greatest act of revenge the nationalist community ever inflicted on a single unionist was making Arlene Foster attend an Ulster Championship match.:56:

I agree there needs to be some form of second tier but I don't think this format is the answer. Having a second tier yes for sure it has been great for Hurling. But there needs to be a system that ensures the teams in the second tier are guaranteed at least a certain amount of games so the players have a chance to develop. Rather then the current format which really does not seem to offer very much in that regard. That lack of games is what is the no for me.

A sad day today with the news that Dublin great Bernard Brogan is to retire. Truly one of the greats of this modern era with a haul or 7 All Ireland titles.

What an incredible legacy Gavin leaves behind him. One of the 2 features for me that played such a big role in Dublin's success under Gavin was one his able to adjust when things were not going well and also how calm the players always seemed even when under severe pressure. You would have to think that yes Cluxton may well be the next to announce his retirement soon. I hope not given how well he played last year but he is 38 so under the circumstances if he does retire it would not be a surprise.

As a Derry man, I'm very proud of the Slaughtneil performance yesterday against Ballyhale. Couldn't have done any more. It's not that long ago that an Ulster hurling title for a Derry club was a mere pipe dream.
