People keep saying we should loan him out for a season, but that just doesn't make sense. If we loan him out for a season he will have 6 months left on his contract. At that point he can speak to anyone and either go for a pittance then or see out his contract and go for nothing.

If he isn't in our plans for this season we should be selling him now.

In fairness to Hibs, would they want to take a punt on a player who has player so little games in the last few seasons?

They are a team who are looking to finish in the top 4 in their own right. They have just signed Josh Vela and have a young talent in Mallan and have Slivka.

Right now we should be looking to loan him to anyone who will guarentee him a lot of game time.

Renew his contract for another season. Loan him out. Can't see him being on mega wages.

That only works if he wants to extend his contract. I might be wrong, but I can't see that being the case, especially if it is only so we can loan him out.

has he been getting regular games for our development sides when fit ???

for me it be weird if he isnt getting much if any football at celtic but im assuming this as i havent heard of any games bar the few he has played for the first team in his 2 and half years with us

or maybe we regard him as another duff signing by rodgers

According to Sdna.Gr, Panathinaikos are pushing hard to convince Celtic midfielder Kouassi Eboue to join the club on a season long loan deal.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered reports from Greece that the Greens are interested in signing the Ivorian, as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.

Sdna.Gr reports their sporting director Nikos Dabizas is a big fan of the Celtic player and believes the 21 year old will solve their problems in midfield.

Along with Dabizas, Panathinaikos manager Giorgos Donis has also given the green light to sign the Celtic player and more concrete developments are expected to happen in the coming days.

Since joining the Scottish Premiership champions, Eboue has struggled to get games, under both Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon.

After rupturing a cruciate knee ligament in October, Eboue was ruled out for more than 8 months but it seems the youngster is ready to kickstart his career.

Sdna.Gr say if Pana manage to sign Eboue this could be a fresh start for the young midfielder.

    Would make sense.

    I'm happy with a loan.

If it gets him regular game time I'd be happy to see him loaned with a January recall option.

Panathinaikos is attempting to "foul" on the acquisition of a defensive tool, with Embuie Quasi looking like a priority.

The young winger seems to have "glazed" in the eye of Nick Dabiza, who believes that this player has the "package" to meet midfield needs. He seems to like George Doni too and it is not excluded that he will be contacted in the next few days so that his intentions will be revealed.

The goal of the Greens would be to get him on loan, and Quasi's side are not negative about moving to Greece, according to Live Sport. After a serious injury, which he had recently recovered, but of course at full speed, the 21-year-old Ivorian "ace" could find his "rebirth" in Koropi and it is not ruled out that there will be developments soon.

Anyone got an idea what’s happening with Kouassi? Seemingly back in training but no-where to be seen. Surely the guy needs a chance.

He's big, black and from the Ivory Coast.

Just like Yaya, so just the type of big enforcer we've been looking for.

Finally the board has given Lennon the reigns to sign qaulity.

    Welcome, ya big giant beastie.
