    Hope we don't go back in for him now. Regardless of the reasons for him not accepting, I'm sure he was offered a great deal, so he obviously doesn't want to be here that much, so * him, and we move on.

    A position we are probably best served in, for an unproven Motherwell kid that many doubt is better than Henderson, getting dragged into a * for tat Twitter spat, an it's off, it's on, no its off again protracted wait that makes us look like even bigger mugs. Shambles of a transfer from start to finish. Pathetic.

    Only upside is we might now buy players for positions we actually need, * they might even be of a decent pedigree. Aye right!

    Just another transfer window with Celtic.

    Pray to * we get out act together and start looking at other players.

    Regardless of who is to blame for the break down of this transfer, the board need a good transfer window and their jobs should depend on it because the performance and events of the last year have been unacceptable for a team once so far ahead.

    Disappointed as he could've been great here.

    We can't wait forever. We offered him decent terms but he either doesn't want to come here at all, he reckons he can make better money elsewhere or he feels it'll hinder his progression.

    I can't blame him for any of these but the handling of it by the agent has been appalling. If he doesn't want to come here, we've obviously been used as a bargaining tool to get a better deal elsewhere. This may well back fire as now there is no leverage and who would want to deal with the agent now?

    He may be a £20k a week player one day. But he isn't yet. There's a difference between an established first teamers and a first team player. You got to earn it. It's not like we were offering a pittance anyway.

    If he feels like he hasn't grown enough yet to come in here and earn a place, fine. He may well get another year under his belt before going to a big club. If he doesn't feel like he can break into our team, shame. If you don't have the guts for it, there's no hope for you in the hoops.

    It may well be a huge regret in his career when he looks back after retirement.

    We move on.

    Doesn’t really mate. I’m pleased he didn’t sign and I’m glad Celtic were the ones to pull the plug. Celtic got a lot of stick from even our own fans about using Twitter. Well whoever decided to make it public called it right and didn’t allow us to be backed into a corner. Young lad had it all at 19 with a 10k wage and all the incentives. More importantly for his stage in development, he was plying his trade on his own doorstep. All his family and friends at hand and mums cooking and that is important for any 19 yr old lad. He would have had his close circle at hand and not have to set up new home in a new city. I would like to say good luck to him but in this case I ain’t feeling that charitable.:50:
