Croatians have looked very good since the start of the tournament and especially against Germany.

Turkey showed they have the stomach for a fight against the Czechs and finished with a flourish.

I reckon it could be really tight, Turkey have some great players; Nihat and Ardu in particular have stood out in these championships.

and under that 20th june 2008, again but same number of people...

btw...1593 croatian duke Zrinski deffended Wien from Turkey attack, battle happend in Siget in Hungary...all 800 croats died in battle, turkey lost alot of army and they lost their king...didn't continue toward Wien...

croultras, it's referring to a battle of sisak - a turning point in war against ottoman empire.

The battle of Siget (Szigetvár) happened in 1566
2300 croats fought 90000 turks with 300 cannons on their campaign to conquer vienna. for weeks they fought, but no one send reinforcement...
when they finally got pined down zrinski ordered the last charge saying: "..Let us go out from this burning place into the open and stand up to our enemies. Who dies - he will be with *. Who dies not - his name will be honoured. I will go first, and what I do, you do. And * is my witness - I will never leave you, my brothers and knights!
it is believed that 30000 turks never saw their victory, and only 7 defenders survived.
    read the text.

    - this is where that football cheering: ''U BOJ U BOJ - ZA NAROD SVOJ'' come from.
    - ivan zajc wrote the opera Nikola Šubić Zrinski, especially appreciated in japan. gotto listen to this:
a choir of HNK Split: nikola šubić zrinski
    a japanese choir
a choir of one thousand japanese

I don´t care who wins, but my feeling says that this game will be decided after penaltys

What a finish to the game, Turkey deserve credit where it's due, they've fought well during their matches....It now sets up an interesting tie with Germany. As soon as Turkey equalised, you knew they were gong to win on penalties, the equaliser shattered the Croatians confidence.

P.S Croatia did well this tournament and played well, thanks for knocking out England.

    * it... This is a lesson to Bilić:never have young boys shoot penalties. Life goes on, I'm cheering on for Germany and Russia.

They are better in running, hard football even than the Turks, let alone us. Narazaki would've saved the Turkish pens.

Not a happy milestone. We had the game over... And Japanese players would benefit us greatly. I'm dead serious.
