I was worried that going all out on the manager front might spoil the funds for squad reconstruction if they have went down the lennon option then they better invest the Rodgers and impending dembele cash on the squad

Cant believe it, I'm hoping our recent performances are due to tiredness and not lennys ability as manager or failing to get the best out of the players.

 

That’s why it’s a smart move.

Still a bit shocked at the timing but then again we are dealing with Lawwell at the helm.

I don't think Lenny is the man to take us forward, however if he is manager then we need to get behind him. At the moment he has been offered it, the ball is in his court. He has to negotiate a decent size transfer budget to rebuild the squad before e agrees to take charge.

 

The budget better be decent,it's unthinkable we don't do 10IAR

 

Think we need to focus on the achievement of the club today and put this to the back burner. Pick it back up again tomorrow.

Honestly the most cynical thing I've ever seen from our board if he'd lost today would they still have had the balls to announce that * unreal.

Regardless of whether I wanted Lenny or not, that timing is sleekit as * from the board. It's the timing of it rather than the appointment itself that scares me.

 

Hopefully we start playing better football than we have been. 50 crosses a game and switching the wingers from side to side when it’s not going to plan doesn’t cut it for me.

We struggled under Rodgers as well but we’ve definitely went down a level further since Lennon came in.

Hopefully he’ll get money to spend as we really need to invest in the squad.

 

I really hope he has the balls to do that or turn it down and stating why
