On paper, 3-1 is nothing to be embarrassed about away at Salzburg.

But that performance was pathetic. Sunday league stuff on the ball.

 

Salzburg were quality,but we're capable of so much more than what we offered tonight...just lacklustre.

It really is eyeopening when you see these games, Aye Salzburg are one of the very best at "our level", but they were a class above us tonight, stronger, faster, slicker, younger.

 

That’s what can be achieved when a club has a vision and a good recruitment system.

yeah i agree we have played some really embarassing games against european sides in the past

but this was pretty bad also

we at no point in this game had a spell of possession

think at most we had 5 consecutive passes thats not football

they made us look unfit with the pace and intensity they played this game, it kind of highlights whats maybe been wrong with us all season because we have had it all our own way domestically for 2 years winning 6 out of 6 trophies the players think they can just walk the games, our squad is infected by complacency, players thinking they are better than than they are and a lack of hard work

the 2 french guys and the belgian have really hurt us this season we could have done worse than sold them all, * parasites

It was hopeless and utterly embarrassing how we couldn't find any passes. Couldn't get forward. Couldn't defend..

This team is full of complete *. Mulumbu shows them up massively.

Defensively he was brilliant but when he win the ball, he just punted it forward to nobody.

 

Dembele is such a loss.

He used to get * for his nonchalant style of play but he was very good in Europe for us.

Earlier on in the season, when he come on against AEK in Athens he made a huge difference. Allows us to get up the park and keep the ball, put pressure on the opposition.

We weren't awful tonight, I have seen worse performances. But it's still irritating that all the goals were so terrible. If you're getting cut open by real quality you can kind of put your hand up and say fair play, but we never do. We're always conceding the worst * amateurish goals imaginable. When we went 1-0 up I was thinking to myself, we can maybe get a draw here as I knew we'd never keep a clean sheet.

 

Don’t worry mate. Just need to give Rodgers and Congerton big money in January.

Love Lustig for his passion and his past service but if he really cares about Celtic he should hold his hands up and admit he isn't good enough to represent the club on the park... find him a job with coaching or youths by all means but he needs replaced asap

Hendry hasn't hid but he just isn't the required level.. if you want heart and not hiding then give his wages to any guy in the support and you will get the same desire and lack of quality.

Boyata will be off as soon as he can so we are missing a whole defensive unit ...And IT SHOWS
