Because there’s no play whatsoever on the football side at all.

We were a mess under Park’s recruitment as well but the minute that offer came in for Dembele he’d had gave the board 3/4 strikers names to go and start working on the deals.

We need a DOF and a couple of football people on the board to overhaul the football/recruitment/scouting side of things. There’s no leadership whatsoever.

It's not snakey. If Celtic had time to recruit they would have sold. They have let him have talks so he can leave, but we own the contract so he has to respect we need to be given fair money. If anybody is stopping it then it is lyon.

We did have time to recruit, we should’ve have a few different options lined up for when the inevitable bid came in.

Rodgers has already said we haven’t scouted CB’s or Strikers because we he was happy with what we had.

The fact he only decided to bid for McKenna after he realised Boyata could be off was an embarrassment.

  4. I'm confident it would have been explained perfectly well to Dembele, the conditions in which we would be happy to sell and let him move on.

given the history and behavior of the modern footballer I'd assume he's taken huff because he believes those conditions were met but clearly weren't.

so he can either knuckle the * down get back into Rodgers favor and smash the Europa and * off for better money in Jan or be the * and rot in the reserves.

  5. Park’s system was excellent, what wasn’t was the backing the managers recieved. When you get further and further down a list it can look bad but what it was is extensive. I refuse to believe we’ve ripped out his full system, would seem mental to me but we’ve been so flaccid in the market it looks like we have.

  6. If we’ve promised, stated publicaly, after two years we won’t stand in his way then it is. It’s in the best interest of the club but if my work made me promises then reneged on it, I’d be flinging a hissy fit as well.

Aye far from ideal, however I think when the EPL window shut there was defo a degree of complacency.. I always envisaged him heading back to the EPL..

He just needs to be a bit patient, for me it’s a bit different from the Boyata debacle..

It wasn’t excellent at all. We got a few gems from it but the amount of * we signed was * ridiculous to the point we’re still paying some of the players 2 years later.

At the end up it was just flinging * at the wall to see what sticks.

  9. French media claiming he might be bought today then loaned back until January, would be really surprised at that as I can't see why Lyon would agree to it if they need a striker to replace diaz immediately

Like I said, you can give all the best prospects and good players for us you want but if the board don’t want to back that and you get further and further down the lists then that’s when you * up.

The method of scouting and players that we held on the system.... It was a good system but it was purely scouting. Not a DOF like you’re saying who has a lot more autonomy.

We go back to relying on the board, what we have now is more backing for a manager but we don’t seem to have the same network in place anymore.

Maybe it's the only compromise we will come to.

  12. * that loan back pish

22m and then get him and ol to *, some drama this * is causing.

More concerned about the impact and disharmony within the team not to mention IT WILL affect Eddy and Ntcham.

Wouldn't mind that Iranian Sardar Asmoun...need a big physical striker for bullying and an out ball.

If players like Balde Browzek Fridjonsson Balde Kapo Mouyokolo Gershon Allan GMS are on any list then the system clearly isn’t excellent.

  14. If we sell him then dont bring him back on loan i think his reputation in he eyes of a lot of fans has changed, and coming on loan he will be jeered badly i think.

Let’s be honest, if he signs for Lyon and is ‘loaned back’ for 6 months absolutely * all changes other than the fact we know the date he’s leaving.

He won’t be ‘going’ anywhere or ‘coming back’ anywhere.

Of course it would, we don’t have the means to replace him clearly.

Which in itself is a * farce but that’s another story.
