He was excellent today, strolled it.
Would never boo one of our own personally, but he has been a total *, refusing to play in our most important game of the season where he could have helped us to qualify.
Should have been hounded out after that for me.

 

Our defence looks so much more organised and solid with him in it, which is infuriating because it puts us in a sticky position if we don't buy a quality CB that can replace him.

 

I don’t think Brendan says much publically without really thinking it through.

He’s thought through the ramifications first for me. Especially the stuff with the board, wait to see if it works, if we are backed.

 

This is great to see, playing for and supporting each other, we defended really well today and I have to say Boyata was directing the defence the whole game which is what has been lacking recently. Fair play to him, he knew he would get slaughtered if he made one mistake, instead of refusing to play he laced the boots up and went for it and as long as he gives a professional display I can't boo him. It's just a bit gutting we are in this situation as he could have made a real impact this year after getting that experience and confidence in the WC.

 

Mate you could hold Lawells family hostage and he would still ask for a installment plan in the ransom.

 

This is a total fk up from the club if you come out and say he has down tools and is refusing to play he should have been out the door straight away .

He was on a 2/3 week holiday after the world cup for fucksake and he didn't even play Belgium's final 2 game's..

He then comes back. Does fuckall. Kicks up a fuss about going to Fulham. Refuses to play our biggest game's of the season, then pretends he's injured. Comes back and then does it and again before Suduva. In amongst all that he's liking Sevilla tweets who he was supposedly going to and agreeing and letting his agent belittle and talk * against the club..

We're supposed to forget all that and cheer his every touch with vigour, really?

So he goes off thinking that's alright, the fan's back my stance....or any others who will inevitably down tool's, such is Brendan's weakness to this now..

Theres more to the Boyata thing than were getting to know?Brendan said before the AEK game that Boyata was fit to play?But then said he still had a little injury when it came to the next game? So what is it ?was he fit or wasnt he ?Did he refuse to play or was he genuinely injured?Did the club break a promise to him or didn't they?I know many want to castigate him but at the end of the day he has to look after his own career and family .He is not and doesnt pretend to be a hoops fan ,obviously his feelings for the team are not the same as ours, they are simply his employers.Im not going to berate him when i dont actually know the facts
